Outstanding Service at Brown & Loe – A Shoutout to Matt Some of the key attributes of a great restaurant server are customer service, efficiency, professionalism, calmness, being observant, and having a positive attitude. I witnessed all of these in action at Brown & Loe—specifically from a waiter named Matt, at the Kansas City, Missouri Airport location. I was truly impressed by how Matt managed a full house of guests for over two hours. He was the only one on the floor, yet he took orders, checked on tables, cleared them, and handled every task with a genuine smile. The sauce was overpowering, kind of like a first date who won’t stop talking about their ex. On the bright side, the beer was ice cold – the perfect antidote to my mouth being on fire.
Service was a bit slow, but it gave me plenty of time to contemplate life and stare longingly at all the empty tables that were mysteriously closed off. Maybe they were reserved for the ghost of speedy service past? Despite all that, the vibe was great, and I’d definitely come back for more...
