Stopped in for something different because I was in the neighborhood on an errand. I am not familiar with Honduran food, but I love trying new things. This place blended into the surrounding block. When I stepped in, I was greeted with loud, raucous hispanic music. The guy behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful (he somehow pegged me right away as not being Honduran). He graciously shared some recommendations, and was patient with my questions. While I waited for my takeout, he engaged me in conversation a couple of times, and checked in to let me know where my order stood (it only took 20 minutes). The food was interesting. The Pollo con Tajadas included some overcooked chicken, but I enjoyed the slaw salad, fried banana, and pickled onions. The Baleadas Mixta was the favorite, and I hadn't had high expectations for it. I'd go back, but I would have to be adventurous and try some other menu items, too.

As much as I dislike saying this we were very disappointed in our meals. When we ordered we ask that any sauces, salsa dressing etc. be on the side. As we have dairy allergies. Was told no problem. We were the only people in the dining room, with one or two people that came in for takeout orders. Food took about 45 min + to get our food for one then about 5-10 min for the other( with both us ordering the same thing) The first one came out with all the sauces etc. All over it. Told the guy, to make sure that the other had all sauces etc. on the side. 5-10 min later the second dish arrived and looked like the sauce had been wiped off the top. Green bananas were on the bottom of the plate with the salad on top with sauce all over then the chicken on top. One had the sauce on the chicken . Nothing was said about the mistakes, period. They were busy stocking there supplies. As we were almost finished another couple came in. Hope they got what they ask for. Sadly, you, order at the counter and pay before you receive your food and we also tipped . (Which is not a problem, we understand since covid things have changed and it has never been a problem.) Never had Green Bananas and Chicken served this way. Had it at other restaurants in town, but people do cook things differently. Just never like this, wet, soggy mess. I would be a little more understanding had they even been somewhat busy. But we were the only table until we were finished. We love Honduras and Central America Cuisine, unfortunately this was not it. Maybe they had a new cook, Very Disappointing...Nothing was said or even address when the first order came out and the second 5-10 min. Later. I'm pretty sure, is was the owners who took the order and the other that served it. Sorry I had to write this .... Just goes to show you that star ratings do not always ring true. Hopefully maybe it was just a...

Bad first impression (& last), especially when seeing the menu board prices paired with the unfriendly & unwelcoming attitude of the cashier/food runner. Ordering is done at the front counter.

The food was ok at best, but at $18 ($17.95) for pollo con tajadas (we split 3 between 4 of us) that was served in to go Styrofoam containers, it should've been phenomenal. Flavor was meh and too salty. The tajadas were way under cooked.

My son had the Catracho breakfast, which was scrambled eggs, refried beans, huge flour tortillas, avocado slices & cheese. It was good but the price of $11 was ridiculous.

You want a soda or bottled water? Go get it yourself in the cooler. You want ice water? "We don't have any," with a "tough luck" attitude.

Not trying to nit pick, but for a first impression it was terrible. It was our last impression as well. There is better Honduran food to be found & at distinctly...
