Tacos El Güero — Restaurant in Kansas City

I have never had a more bittersweet love affair than I had with my asada burrito last night.

I met her in questionable part of town, but my friend assured me we’d like each other. Her father was the happiest, hardest working cook I’ve met. She was dressed casually, but had the most interesting accessories.

When we were alone, I took a chance and nibbled her neck. I was in love! How I restrained from taking her right then and there, I don’t know. We had a couple of drinks, and then headed north.

We made out unabashedly in a northland bar’s parking lot, then took a break and had another drink or two.

When we got back to my buddies place, it was on. In my excitement, I took everything she had to give right there on the kitchen counter. It was deliciously messy and oh so fleeting.

I stood there in the kitchen both ecstatic and mourning the loss of my latest love and favorite burrito ever.

This place is awesome! Partly because it's just down the street from my house, and partly because the tacos are inexpensive and delicious! I think if you want you food to go, you should walk up to the window on the sidewalk. If you want to eat it on location, you just walk on inside and order there!

The service is fast and friendly. They have great street tacos, lots of cilantro, and lots of white onions! I ordered a couple of chorizo tacos to go, it was a total of five dollars. The tacos are a good size and they give you a grilled pepper and half a grilled onion. Don't forget the sauce!

Customer service is horrible. The owner and his employees stopped caring about the customers. It has been several times when I ordered​ tacos without certain condiment (ex: onions) and the tacos come with it either way. When asked for a re-make of order, they refuse to do it. Also they give out orders with missing items that usually come with the tacos (ex: salsa, beets, Chile's, cucumber) or the items are going bad. Still the best tasting tacos in town, but this place has taken us customers for granted, just thinking that no matter what...
