I have lived/worked in the northeast for the past couple years, and am eternally grateful for the beautiful God-honoring men and women who serve here. Coffee-aside(which is unusual for me), they are a blessing to so-so many folks here in the roughest parts of KCMO. I love to spend my time/money here knowing it goes to spread the gospel to those who are lost, and are able to hear the words of life(just like I need too!).
Now to the food/drinks. I love their Black Diamond blend, it is a great medium/dark roast that just hits the spot in the cold Kansas City winter. Another great drink is their cortado(the dezi way), and it is really refreshing served with a side of sparkling water, with the little coffee beans as well! Their food is very consistent across the board, making delicious dishes such as their Biscuits & Gravy, their BLT, and the famous Turkey Jack! Not to mention their delicious coffee cake and lemon bars!
I could go on for ages, and I admit my bias haha. The bottom line is this, do you want to put your money where your mouth is? Come, enjoy the blessings of God, and take part in what He is doing here in this dark city by patronizing this...

Very friendly people, good coffee, fairly knowledgeable baristas, and I am very happy to see these guys in the old Northeast. This is what the...
Read moreNice decor. Very friendly staff. Pretty good coffee. Some sandwiches and a few sweets. Pretty reasonable prices. Parking is free either on street or in a small lot behind the building. The point of the coffee shop is community outreach - there's Bible study or something downstairs. That being said, you probably wouldn't know that by the building, decorations, or interactions. I appreciate that - no proselytizing. A unique gem for this area. I should stop...
