KFC — Restaurant in Kansas City

THE worst KFC I've ever been to. When I showed up there today at the drive thru they immediately say "it'll be just a minute, we're in the middle of a shift change." TEN MINUTES LATER, I ask if anyone is there to which they reply "we're still in the middle of a shift change." Now I haven't worked in fast food in 20 years, but I can't imagine that common practice is to shut down drive thru business for 15 minutes to do a shift change, but I was willing to let it go. Then I spend the better half of actually placing my order trying to explain to the person taking it, the difference between a combo and a basket and what they include. I ordered a chicken sandwich basket and a famous bowl. When I finally get up to the window to pay they ask me to pull forward and they'd bring it out. An ADDITIONAL TEN MINUTES LATER they finally bring out my order and it's missing the potato wedges I asked to substitute for the cole slaw and the biscuit that are supposed to come with a basket! So I take it inside, show them my receipt, and explain to them what's missing, the employee and the manager get in an argument over it, she hands me a bag and apologizes and I leave with my order. I get out to my car only to realize that they STILL didn't put the biscuit in the bag, but by this time I had already given up and just wanted to go home after being stuck there so long. Would not recommend, will not be going there again. WORST...

Their ice machine has been down for a few weeks now and they still want you to pay for drinks with no ice in it. Who wants to drink to drink hot soda? And they refuse to either substitute the drinks for something else or just take the price off. The shift manager was very rude to me when I asked to switch the drink for something else and then refused to give me my order after I had already paid for it. When I asked for my money back he said that I would have to come back when there was a manager there because he wasn't allowed to do refunds. Then refused to give me my receipt! After about 30 minutes of arguing with him to either give me my money back or give me the food another worker came up front and told him to just give me the food and to stop being on a power trip. The worker gave me extra food to try and make up for all the trouble but I will probably never go back there again which sucks because my son loves to eat there. They really need to get better management there. Every time I go in there it is someone new who doesn't really know what...

I went in about 5:30 in the afternoon thinking this would be the optimum time for everything being stocked for the dinner rush, and I wanted a 14 piece bucket half extra crispy and half original recipe. Now, the cashier was as helpful and apologetic as he could be, but they were out of white meat, and they were out of extra crispy. So, instead of getting only three or four pieces of dark meat original recipe get up with 14 pieces of dark meat original recipe. Now, you know that this means legs and backs. Mostly legs. There were three or four backs, but they were small. Also, to tell you the truth, the chicken needed to have been left in the cooker for a few more minutes. Didn't come apart the way it completely cooked chicken does, and certainly not the way it does on their commercials.
