Fish City — Restaurant in Kansas City

It’s honestly time to replace the lady at the front counter. I have been living in the area for several years and love the food here but EVERY single time I have came in and the lady was rude! The last time I came in and stated I wanted to try a new fish and asked for recommendations, she looks up to the ceiling and rolled her eyes without saying a word.. i immediately said “nvm just give me the basa (my usual) i then asked “does the catfish steaks have bones?” she looked dead past me and made eye contact with the person from behind me and stared at them as if she was talking with her eyes.. I AGAIN SAID NVM… so then I asked if she accepts apple pay yet.. she ROLLED HER EYES AGAIN and said “no” I said okay… and then in her SWEETEST voice she goes “would that be all?” I literally left.. this is ridiculous and if she remembered me she would remember i gave her a $20 tip the last time I came JUST BECAUSE i figured she was just having a bad day… She’s going to be the reason this place gets considered bad business. The attitude, rolling her eyes, and being rude is SOOOOO unnecessary. Just get a new job if you hate yours that much. The food is the best in the city but her attitude makes the place avoidable!

We came up there and made a large order several dinners of fish with fries. When we got the order, none of the fries were done. I called up there to speak to somebody about it. The lady who answered the phone stated she was just a cashier, and there was nothing she could do about it, and the manager was not available. When she turned around to speak to the cooks, you could hear them back there yelling and cussing, and she stated the woman who was up here with the large order wants free fries. I informed her I do not want free fries. I just want the fries for the orders replaced because they were not done all the way. She then informed me that I needed to come up there and talk to the cooks myself and hung the phone up on me. I attempted to call back up there several times with no answer. She was very rude unprofessional. The cooks were rude and unprofessional. We spent a large amount of money with them and I feel like replacing the fries was the least...

Once I got home I noticed my Order was messed up. I tried and tried calling but the line stayed busy. The next day I called and the person that I spoke with was very rude. I told her I ordered last night and order was missing my okra and she said did you order okra? Really did she just ask me that when I’m calling to let them know that. Finally she said we’ll come get an order. I told her I don’t want it today I wanted it last night with my fish. She said well we have a 24 hr rule if you don’t get it in 24 hrs “ to bad to sad” are you kidding me?? I told her I would have liked to have gotten it with my order. Then I asked if I could just come get my money back and she proceeded to say well it’s no money to get cause it comes with the fish. I said no it didn’t come with the fish I paid for an order and didn’t get it. Way too much back and forth for me. Bottom line I will not spend my money...
