Spring China — Restaurant in Kansas City

If i could give less than one star i would. In the year i have lived here I have ordered from this place a total of 3 times. The food in my opinion is ok. But the service is atrocious. Everytime I have called to place an order they have been very rude and hurried. As a chef myself I understand a busy resteraunt. But I also understand that the paying customers deserve proffesionalism and politeness. Now I have a family of 7, which means when I order somewhere i spend a lot. I called tonight and tries to place an order and the guy who took the call was very rude and impatient and actually started yelling at me. When I reminded him I was a cuatomer and asked him to stop yelling, he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to his manager. She was equally rude and cited the busy resteraunt as excuse for their behavior, and dismissed me asking if i wanted to order something or not. When i tried to speak again she verbally ran over me. Warning do not eat here they have drastically change the quality of the food and RAISED all the prices $$ I used to eat here all the time if not two times a week but lately the food has been nasty the chicken is always soggy the breading is falling off! Everybite i have to spit out somthing I can’t not chew! 🤢 not sure if they went with another supplier since Covid if so… BIG MISTAKE! Also they changed availability to walk in you can no longer walk in and see your food being made they have a door that you nowc have to ring and a lady comes up to the door to take your payment method this place has went downhill I don’t recommend this to anyone if I could give no stars I would, I wouldn’t be surprised if Spring China went out of business soon!

This place is awful. The food tastes like the disdain with which they serve you. Still locked up from COVID. You can't go in, rain or shine. You have to stand outside which is fine. Because, the windows and doors are filthy, and what you can see of the inside looks no better. The food was cold, and the shrimp fried rice smelled like it had a yeast infection. Yes, it tastes as bad as it smelled. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside but mushy and gross inside. This place charges way too much for zero effort.The prices are insane for the horrible food and attitude you get from here. The family that owns the place are rude to put it mildly.
