Kabashi Hibachi Grill & Sushi Japanese Express — Restaurant in Kansas City

Their website and door dash show the food as $4 more expensive than it is if you order it from the truck. I understand there’s an upcharge but paying an extra $8 to order online and I still had to pick it up myself was crazy.

Noodles taste like sesame oil. Chicken is heavy heavy garlic. This is the second time we’ve been here. Don’t let the photos of the steak fool you online. You’ll get some tiny chopped up pieces the size of a dime. We were hoping our first visit was a fluke but it wasn’t. This place was not worth $20/plate. Felt mislead. Won’t return. Very nice...

If you haven't been here it's totally worth it. I'm super picky about Asian food and only eat certain places. I was given a free sample (more like a entree size) and I was take by surprise. It was Flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. The staff was so nice and inviting. Now It isn't in the best part of town and a little hidden but if you can look past, I promise you it will be that worth it. Thanks so much for the sample, I'll be back with the family...

First time visit here, had dinner Hibachi Salmon and Hibachi Scallop, taste was awesome, the cook of Salmon and veggies was perfect also their topping sauce also yum2 sauce, danggg really good; Rice and Noodles yummy... The clerk and crew was friendly and polite. I've tried many hibachi restaurant and hibachi express food truck around Kansas City, KABASHI HIBACHI is the Best. Definitely be back here.
