This was the most insane and horrible experience I’ve ever had at a little Caesar’s in my life. We ordered online and waited in our car 30 minutes for it to be done. After the time where it should’ve been done we went inside, big mistake on our part. The lobby was crowded, very hot, and full of flies which is gross considering it’s an open kitchen. The poor girl working up front was literally doing everything for everyone and trying to manage everything at once. The manager here was sitting around doing absolutely nothing and I’m not sure how she’s employed. At one point she was in the back just on her phone and spouting off to employees about her personal life which they obviously didn’t care to hear about just doing nothing while they were all rushing to get pizzas made. At another point she even LOUDLY said “can we please get rid of some of the customers in the lobby” like I don’t know how she meant that, but if that’s what she wanted she could’ve gotten off her butt and helped out?? The was literally stood there doing absolutely nothing watching her poor employees especially the one girl work themselves to the bone. I assumed the girl working at the front was the manager because of how hard she was working. Even with customers frustrated and being downright nasty to her she kept her cool and was extremely apologetic to everyone. The employees in the back literally ALL took a break at one point. Just clocked out and left with a full lobby of people, leaving this one girl alone to do all the work, which if it’s not illegal, absolutely should be. While we waited, a woman came in angry because I’m sure she also waited forever, but also because her pizza was burnt and dry. Despite the fact that she did scream at the manager and was extremely rude, it’s the managers responsibility to remain cool and collected. It’s not like she swore in her face or something, she was mad because your store is an absolute mess. The manager LITERALLY looked at her. Said “okay…” tossed the pizza in the trash and walked away. Didn’t tell this lady she was going to fix it or anything, just walked off. It was the rudest thing to do to a paying customer. After we had been waiting for an hour, we realized that our pizza had already been done for a while but that they didn’t have our crazy bread. Their pizza portal is broken so we had no way to know. We finally decided to just take the pizza without the crazy bread and leave, of course didn’t get a refund because it was so crazy in there and it literally seemed like there was about to be a fist fight or something with how mad the customers all were. We’ve contacted little Caesar’s to ask for our refund for the crazy bread but doubt we will hear back. Really unfortunate experience all around and I feel bad for (some of) the employees who have to work there and deal with that manager. Fire everybody else and let the girl working the front manage the store and give her a raise, she seriously deserves it, because I would’ve lost my mind if I was her. Didn’t catch her name but she had a green sweatshirt. But seriously, until management changes I will not be coming back. For the store to be in that condition...
Read moreSo imma be real. The food at this one is better than the one in Olathe. But the customer service and kitchen time is absolutely awful. We tend to eat here Mondays when we have later work days and last week we were ignored for 10 minutes by an employee in the kitchen part on his phone after saying excuse me and trying to get his attention more than once and was only helped when another female employee noticed us and apologized for him. Today. We placed our order when we left olathe, took us about 20ish minutes to get there (it's closer to home and we work in olathe) when we got there it wasn't done. The girl said 10 minutes it was coming out of the oven. A little annoyed but were assuming it's almost done. We stood in that store for 30 minutes while we watched all kinds of other people get their food. Finally asked about it again, and the crazy bread was in the oven. So we didn't end up getting our food till like an hour after our order was originally placed. And no apologies fo the wait or anything. These aren't isolated incidents either. Unfortunately every time we pick this location over the olathe one i leave irritated. Which like I said is super annoying because the food is usually so much better than the olathe location. Not the case today though our pizza is a little more done that we prefer.
Update. After we started eating we realized the pizza was cold. I just do not understand how we waited 30 plus minutes for the pizza to come out of the oven. For it to be burnt and COLD at the same time. Like for real how to do you...
Read moreI placed an order 24 hours in advance for 10 pizzas for my daughter's birthday party for pickup at 10:30am the next day. They open at 10am, allegedly. My husband arrived at 10:30 and they were closed, even though the sign on the front door said their hours started at 10am. I called. No one answered the phone.
Finally at 10:45am, right before I was about to place a pizza order from QuickTrip just so we could actually have pizza at the party, they opened the door and it was another 20 minutes before the pizzas were done, so the pizzas, my husband, and my daughter who was with him, and who the party was for, were late to the party by 30 minutes. Guests were arriving and wondering where the birthday girl was.
My husband texted me saying we should never order from this location again, not just because they were late with our order, but because the inside of the restaurant was shockingly filthy. Overflowing trashcans, flies everywhere. He said he's never seen a place as bad as this in terms of cleanliness. Obviously whoever closed the night before did ZERO cleanup (and possibly not much cleaning is going on any given day of the week).
There was only one person working. The store is probably understaffed but that's no excuse for the place being so disgustingly filthy. The pizzas were haphazardly assembled - toppings not evenly distributed, some of the pizzas ended up being soggy, and the person working there seemed completely overwhelmed. All the other one star reviews here are spot-on. Whoever is managing this location is doing a...
