Coming from someone who orders a lot of pizza from your company, waiting over an hour to receive a pizza from less than 4 miles away is crazy. When you call in to see if you should expect your pizza or make other dinner arrangements and are placed on hold for over ten minutes before you can even speak to someone, it becomes beyond a poor experience. After finally getting through to the store I was told, "uh, you should have it already" and then asked for my address, to which gave her my address I assured the manager, that I didn't. She stated that it left the store five minutes ago, which if that was true, meant it took just over 60 minutes to bake my pizza. Of course, that wasn't true at all. I was hoping to try a hot sampling of your new deep dish pizza for the first time while enjoying the game, not receive a pizza looking and tasting like it had been riding around in someones car for an hour. But neither would happen tonight.
A little over 90 minutes in I called the store and spoke with the manager and asked for a resolution. At this time she again got my address and then proceeded to tell me that even though she had previously told me a) I should have already received my pizza, and b) it had just left her store five minutes prior (now 30 minutes ago) she now has no record of it being made, leaving the store, and had no idea where it was. She offered to make another one for me. I asked how long that would take to which she responded 40-50 minutes. (FYI in Papa Johns lingo, that means over an hour). I asked her if she expected someone to wait for over 2 hours to receive their dinner. When I pressed her for an answer she said, "Yes." She said I "should" receive a credit back on my card in a couple of days but if I don't I can call back to the store. I have no word that I am owed a credit other than my own as she would not provide me with any sort of confirmation that I would receive the credit.
When I order dinner at 7:00, I don't expect to begin eating after 9:00, but tonight I am. I am just happy that it isn't from your crappy company. If I could suggest a new slogan for your company, it would be, "Secret ingredients, piss poor service, papa johns". Feel free to use it. No...
   Read moreIf you want your food later than the time window you are quoted, your order only half right, and not so friendly service this place is so for you. We have ordered multiple times just out of pure convience knowing that things never change but the food is edible most times. Only once have we had to throw away our entire order which is generally at least 4 pizzas. Only three times have they ever got our order correct. Usually things are missing. Don't get me wrong I think it is great that they offer a credit for your future purchase to try and right their wrong but seriously what about now i am still hungry?????? So tonight we order as usual it's late we are tired and really just want to relax. So our order as usual is over 50.00 we usually give around a 7 dollar tip and guess what we don't have enough small bills to pay and tip so as we have been instructed By the manager at Papa John to do is call them and let them know that our order is over 50.00 and we need to be able to have change made. What happens tonight when I call as usually I am told by the kid on the phone that said he was also a manager that the driver only carries 20.00 in change. Really I did not know that hence why I was told to call to let them know. Anyways now I have not only canceled my order but I am officially done with Papa John's. Thank You!    Read moreThe sauces I was charged for were not included in the order we had to go pick up. I called and was told I could come get them. We had timed our order to be home at a certain time and didn't think we should have to go back. I was then told I would get a credit for "next time". Since I knew there wasn't going to be another visit there I explained that it didn't help solve my current situation. I was then told they would be delivered, which I appreciated even though the girl who answered the phone was extremely snarky. This same girl then gave the driver the wrong address. We tipped him $5 for bringing them out. Imagine how excited we were to open the bag and see that they were the incorrect sauces which I have to assume was intentional. How do you mess up ranch? I've been a Papa Johns customer for years (not this location ) and have never had this type of experience. It's very unfortunate and I hope they will look at all the negative feedback for this location and make some changes. I wish I would have checked the rating since apparently you can't assume that everyone is competent. If it was a situation of a new hire or some other understandable reason, I would totally understand. This was not the case with the person answering the phone and running the front desk.
