Pegah's Cafe & Coffee — Restaurant in Kansas City

This morning, I had the pleasure of stopping by Pegah's Cafe & Coffee, Martin City's newest small business, and I couldn't have been more impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest staff who were incredibly helpful and patient as I took my time to look over their delicious-looking menu.

I went for an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich, and let me tell you – both were absolutely delicious. The iced coffee was perfectly brewed and refreshing, while the breakfast sandwich hit the spot with its fresh ingredients and satisfying flavor.

What really stood out to me was the warm and how clean it was. The staff made it clear they care about their customers, and that made the experience even more enjoyable. Plus, for those of us who are always in a rush, Pegah's also has a drive-through, which is perfect for picking up something great on the go.

While the atmosphere may look less cozy than the Martin City Coffee or PS Coffee was before, Pegah’s fills the void left behind with their excellent staff and food. Hubs and I shared the combo breakfast for $14.99 and still had some left over. All made from scratch, the food was perfect! I had a peach iced-latte and it was so good. I wish I would have added cinnamon or brown sugar syrup to it for a darker dimension. Simple, good food. The breakfast potatoes are fabulous. I just want a side of those! This place is CUTE (look at that outdoor patio 😍), has a drive thru (huge plus if you’re in a rush or have kids in the car and don’t want to get them all out to pick up food) and has all menu items available all day long (breakfast for dinner anyone?). The menu is typical all-American diner fare, not special, but well done and served quickly. They do have espresso, so you can get better-than-diner coffee which is always a nice perk at any breakfast place—I would much rather order a cappuccino than the standard drip coffee at other places.
