My 13 year old and I planned a quick run to Sonic. I ordered 3 corn dogs, 1 Sonic Cheeseburger and 1 Strawberry milkshake. I was then told it would be 5 minutes on the corn dogs. 13 minutes went by and my order was no longer showing on the screen so I pressed the button again, just to check the status of my order. They declined my call and never answered after calling 2 more times. I only wanted to know how much longer as I have already paid and trying to rush home to my newborn (whom was sleeping at home with my husband but she is a stubborn baby). I asked the person next to me how long they have been waiting and they told me 30 minutes so far and picking up for a DoorDash order... clearly they are behind but why lie to your customers instead of being honest from the start because had I known the wait would be 30 minutes to 1 hour, I couldve went somewhere else.... After waiting about 25 minutes and constantly being ignored, I approached the door and asked for my money back because I refuse to wait any longer. She told me they never received my order and asked me what I ordered, she then walked back inside to check and came back out with the receipt saying my money will return to my card within a few business days. She apologized and told me their system is down which supposedly is the reason I sat waiting for 30 MINUTES thinking my food was being prepared....
ADVICE: 1. When the system is down, let your customers know instead of keeping them in the dark. If you want to continue to take orders while "the system is down" then walk around and write them down to avoid "missing orders" 2. After disappointing or upsetting your customers, at least give them a gift card or a discount towards their next order instead of only saying sorry because I had my order taken, I paid, I waited 30 minutes only to be told...
Read moreIt's been our experience that every single time we go to this location the manager woman is very rude to everyone they also make it habit of telling the customers that they do not have change so that they could keep the remainder how to change for themselves instead of allowing the customer to tip they should the last time we were there which was just a few days ago we witness the manager argue with a woman over refunding her money for particular items that she did not receive when the customer became irate the manager had a hard time maintaining any kind of professionalism and actually put her hands on the customer and pushed her then turned around and called the police on the customer the cook had to come out and settle the situation as opposed to the manager who should maintain a clear head in a cool demeanor we were actually going to wait for the police to show up so they could get the correct story. We're not familiar with Sonic's policies but we do know that anyone in a leadership position should never have acted the way this woman active and we are surprised to still see this woman working there today. Her attitude leaks onto everyone else it takes about seven or eight minutes for them to answer the red button they are not friendly they do not suggest anyting as far as suggested sales or two help the customer with saving money very very rude and not willing to practicing patience with the customers. When i visited a few days ago the food was amazing i had your guys new featured burger and my friend had a regular sonic burger i believe. We ordered two drinks and a order of fries. The car hop came out gave us our food, we paid online. She didn't tell us what we ordered, why do we care if she did lol we knew what we ordered like we didn't need her to repeat it back to us i think it's really weird Demetrius griped on here about something like that to make you guys look bad. The food was amazing. The fries were delicious. I shared the burger with my kids and they had a smile on their face the entire time. Absolutely NOTHING wrong with this sonic location or its employees or the Quality of the food.
