Beware. Quality, cleanliness and food safety have been thrown out the door.
Food poisoning was what we were served on our most recent visit. Visit in December resulted in mildly upset stomach which I attributed to asking for extra spicy.
State Heath Department website shows several health code violations.
Previous review - Good food, fast service and great service staff! It is not a Chinese restaurant - it is an Asian restaurant.
Do you like Thai? Hibachi? Japanese? Chinese? The menu has something for everyone. Don't let that scare you off. The selection and quality are great.
Having a Drive-thru nearby is great! Honey Chicken is very good. General Tso's chicken is my favorite.
I do recommend calling ahead if possible. The food is prepared fresh so you will need to wait a while.
The portions are big, I generally can get 2 meals out of a entrées and the appetizers are very good.
Not sure why a few of the reviews are so negative. I've been very happy with the food,...
Read moreThis is for the Croco rd location. I can't speak for the Wanamaker location. Service is great! Couldn't ask for more. The food is iffy, not sure why but I think they either have a new cook or they have went to lower quality supplies or both... I do know it was my favorite place to get Chicken lo Mein but I've had to switch to sweet and sour chicken. The lo Mein has been tasting awful like it is old or burned. The man that runs the place forces you to bring back the food if you want a replacement which isn't a problem but then again, it could be? I understand the reason, but again, where is that food going? Lastly, the place needs a major update, the menu outside is hard to read from the angle and is not in good shape and the inside of the place looks to be well outdated. It also lacks proper ventilation. I continue to use the drive thru to this day. So it's not horrable and the prices for the portions...
Read moreI go to this place On occasion as it's really close to my house, but probably not anymore. Chow mein is supposedly to be a dish where to noodles are cooked in oil or fried instead of broth. I ordered shrimp chow mein and what came was a oily rancid smelling soupy mixture of vegetal slop with a few shrimp added to the top. I tried to call in to tell the restaurant I think I got someone else's order, because everywhere else I've gone chow mein is a noodle dish. The lady on the phone immediately sighed and tried to tell me that shrimp chow mein is a veggie only dish. I told her that chow mein is a fried noodle dish and she acted like she was confused. Im guessing they ran out of noodles. I ended up hanging up on her because I could tell they were trying to avoid replacing my order. Don't think I'm coming back anymore. Last time I went they also just had a small child running around in...
