Pho ChopstiX — Restaurant in Katy

Wow, what a pleasant surprise to find a gem of a Vietnamese beef noodle house in Katy! Took my wife to lunch and had the best Pho noodle soup in a long while. We are Asian and my wife is an expert cook. She stated that the soup was perfectly seasoned with loads of meats and vegetables and herbs condiments. We had ordered two large "N1" bowls of beef noodle soups with a pot of herbal tea, iced coffee, and two Vietnamese barbecue pork and chicken sandwiches to go. All wonderful and super delicious. Two thumbs up! Finally found an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Katy. This will save us the trouble of having to drive all the way to Bellaire for authentic Pho that had not been "Americanized" to the point of tastelessness. Good job. We will definitely be back many more times. P.S. Another surprise, bathroom was incredibly clean!

Note: We have tried all of the Vietnamese Restaurants in the Katy area and and had encountered the so-so, the bad and the ugly! After eating at these places I was so uninspired that I didn't even bother to leave a review. Some of these restaurants had good reviews but for the life of me I really don't know why?!

Today (10.20.18) we had delivered (via GrubHub) the Grilled Pork Rice Plate with added egg roll and fried egg and the vermicelli with Grilled Pork and added grilled shrimp. Also ordered a Grilled Pork Sandwich. Again all the foods was devine! Yes, this is authentic, traditional Vietnamese Food folks. It's like the difference between eating at a kick-you-in-the-teeth, authentic blue collar, family Mexican restaurant vs. a posh, pretentious Tex-Mex chain with watery tasteless salsa and waiters who doesn't know what is an Agua de Jamaica. This is one of those hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I can't believe we've driven by this place so many times before without even trying!

The restaurant itself is very small and easy to miss. The menu has a variety of typical dishes found in most Vietnamese restaurants.

Service was extremely friendly! The owners were very inviting from start to finish. Every dish that we ordered was clearly made with care 😊

Spring rolls: Freshly made, great sizes, and flavorful.

Bun bo hue: Rich and delicious broth. The spice level was just right.

Combination fried rice: Great portion size and well seasoned!

Combination vermicelli bowl: WOW! 🤩 So many different tastes and textures. Loaded full of meats and veggies with a beautiful presentation.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for some good, local, Vietnamese cuisine. We're definitely...

For almost 4 years I have worked in this area of Katy driving Mason continually eating at the same restaurants and gas stations on this road... continually. FINALLY, I have found a place that most certainly is worth the rating already. I was first impressed with the friendly and clean establishment as I was greeted by a sweet lady and her wonderful father at the front. She helped me choose something off the menu that sounded great and tasted even better than it's description. I will always come back to this place...
