I went to eat tonight, I ordered the parrillada for two to share with a friend (which come with beef/chicken/ribs/shrimp) I specifically told the server that we wanted more beef and chicken than ribs because only one of us was going to eat them. The server misunderstood and brought us the plate with more ribs than beef and chicken, we told the server and he got us more beef and chicken. I thought he was going to take the plate back to the kitchen to remove the extra ribs but he didnāt, we thought he was just being nice. When he brought the check he charged us for extra ribs, which we didnāt order. I told the manager Luis what happened and he went back to the kitchen to talk to the server, we waited for about 15 minutes for him to come back with the new check, and when he finally came back he told me āI did removed the ribs this time from your check, but I wonāt next time because you guys did eat them allā. We didn't even touch them, my friend eat one of the back ribs and we asked for a to go box for the rest because we REALLY didnāt want them. Thatās why we asked for more beef and chicken since the beginning. So, how are you going to my table and told me that next time youāre not going to remove a wrong item from my check because we āate themā. Your server made a mistake, then he did not take the plate back to the kitchen to remove the ribs, and then you try to tell me and my friends that youāre charging me because we ate them (that we didnāt because again, WE DID NOT WANT THEM). To be a manager, Luis should be more professional, not because weāre young people weāre trying to get something for free. I used to work in a Mexican restaurant called El tiempo Cantina and believe me, a manager should never speak to you like that or make that kind of comments. Iām not trying to get free food, I can pay for it. So, of course Iām not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been here two times, one dine in and one to go. The food is delicious! I have enjoyed everything I've eaten from the Victoria's sampler, to the ceviche salad and tonight the Jalisco plate. I was a bit taken aback by the fact that they use flour tortillas for their enchiladas, but it was still good. I would always prefer a corn tortilla, which I assume I can request next time since I've had a chance to look at the menu and see it's spelled out that they use flour tortillas. My mistake. The only thing that I can really complain about is the first time we went on Sunday, there was a wait at the door, and we stood in line behind one more group of two. There were 3 six top tables empty. A group of 4 came in and was promptly seated at one of the 6 tops. I asked the hostess if my party of two could just sit at the 6 top, to which she replied she can't seat us because there's too few people in my party. Even tho the party of 4 still left two unoccupied seats. We waited another 15 minutes (30 minutes total) & were finally seated. Those tables were unoccupied the entire time we were there & even as we left. The person I was with wanted to leave after the hostess said we could not sit at the 6 top, even though there were 2 still unoccupied. I said we've been here this long, let's just wait it out. I thoroughly enjoyed the food & my whole reason for even bringing up the table situation is to say that maybe they should consider letting smaller parties occupy the bigger tables when there are three open. If we'd left that Sunday evening perturbed about the seating, they might have lost the repeat business that I have & intend to give in the future. Just a thought! I'll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the ground beef enchiladas. I asked for the shredded cheese on the side instead of melted cheese all over and recieved no cheese at all. I ordered a coke light ice and received a DIET coke with lots of ice. For some reason he kept bringing me diet coke with ice even when I told him I didn't order diet coke and then asked for no ice. Their green and red salsas were EXTREMELY salty and both pair contained plastic strings in them. I alerted my waiter and he just said "oh its from the bag of blah blah blah. It's ok. I'll switch them out." Like that is normal. My plate was very bland. I did not enjoy it as there was not much flavor at all. The only thing that really saved it was the chile con queso we ordered. My only complaint with that was that the cheese was warm, almost room temperature (almost already hardening) and not hot. This was our valentines date night. Even after all of these mess ups, not one manager came to visit our table and address the issues. Very disappointing that my bf felt he had to keep apologizing for the restaurants lack of service and mess ups. At the end of the night we both agreed that we would not be coming back. Also, our server was running back and forth waiting on what seemed like every table. There were other servers and bussers or whatever they were literally just standing around while he ran everywhere. So we'd have to flag him down just to get refills or have our food fixed.. why were they just standing around while he...
