Mango's — Restaurant in Kauai

Way better than shave ice and twice as nice!!!

Mango's has a beautiful selection of delicious ice creams made in Hawaii. I had a coconut macadamia nut ice cream and loved it! I've never had any ice cream this flavor...it was chock full of chopped mac nuts. Yummy good!

They also have Dole whips in four flavors including pineapple and mango. They will allow you to swirl two flavors or stack them one on top of the other at no extra charge. The portions are substantial.

The best thing about this place was the sweet kindness of both employees.

Steve was absolutely THE BEST! The son of a Vietnam-era Navy corpsman and he knows how to treat veterans well. Please say "Semper Fi" to your dad on behalf of all grateful US Marines.

I visited Mango’s with my three year old granddaughter and the server could not have been more rude. He was put off from the outset. My granddaughter changed her mind about a flavor about the same time as he was starting to put the metal scoop into the carton of ice cream. I politely told him she had requested another flavor and this perfectly reasonable request seemed to really upset him. He proceeded to make the cone in an abbreviated manor with a horrendous disposition. I hope the owner reads this so that they can address the problem. I certainly won’t...

Superrrrr expensive!! $20 (WITH TIP) for two waffle cones with 1 scoop. The ice cream was good, but the bottom of the waffle cones were impossible to eat. Way to thick, you’d break your tooth before finishing, unhappy with that as we paid extra for the waffle cones.
