Panda Express — Restaurant in Kauai

Kauai residents. Beware of pandas. DO NOT PATRONIZE THEM. SEE BELOW MY EXPERIENCE

Ordered 3 plates of 2 choices each and ala carte fried rice. I ate 2 spoons of the fried rice and on the second spoon I bit into something hard. I spit it out and found a human fingernail. I want to warn all that this restaurants handling of food is not to code and should close down. The food quality and quantity has decreased while the price is continuously increasing. The fried rice has no taste or color to it. Dang less ingredients but costs more. Got DOH involved and will be seeking a civil lawsuit if I don't get any response from the corporate office asap. Going on almost a week with no response from the hawaii management. Spoke to Benjie one of the managers. IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TO FIND A HUMAN NAIL IN YOUR MOUTH. VERY DISTURBING. I HAVE EXTEREME ANXIETY, DEPRESSION AND DIABETES. COULD BE DETRIMENTAL TO MY HEALTH IF THE TEST OF THE NAIL COMES OUT POSITIVE FOR DIRT OR WORSE DRIED UP FECES. I have been frequenting this establishment over the past two years, perhaps about 15 times. I generally enjoy it and like the Menu. However, there is one male server ( late twenties, early thirties), that causes me to leave empty handed every time he approaches to serve. On three previous occasions, he parses out minimum servings, shaking the scoop to ensure it only contains one level scoop, 2/3rds of what all other servers dole out, ignores request for a little sauce with the serving and gives a short-shift. First in line at this morning’s opening at 10:30 am, all but one “specialty” item and the Chow Mein were not yet available, the ordered selections were served out of my sight, resulting in a “light portion”delivered meal (Steak & Shrimp special contained two shrimp/ Mushroom Chicken 1/2 scoop with raw zucchini).

Meal selections are good, hurried service shorting portions is not. I cannot in good conscience recommend or continue supporting them with inconsistent portions and staff indifferent to customer...

The first thing I was craving after being out of the country for a few years was wanting Panda Express. I was highly disappointed, it's not what I was accustomed for Panda Express. I mean what happened in these few years Panda Express there was no steam coming from any of the food which should of been a hint to me. The noodles and rice were cold and it tasted old. My Beijing beef tasted rubbery and why of all dishes was the Orange chicken absolutely horrible. If I wasnt so hungry after a long flight I would of threw my food away my food but there again it's hard to throw away food that just cost me $20 for 2 meals. Please get it together Panda...
