We went end of November early December rates were 250 per person which is a bit steep but the resort we stayed at had buy one get one free so 125 was awesome. First off the driving range was in phenomenal shape. Had to rent clubs which were last years callaway epic set so a good set and didnt seem to have much wear and tear on them. The greens are fast and true very soft and very very well taken care of. The tee boxes were just as good no dead spots the carts are equipped with GPS which was a really nice addition and very helpful having never played here before. The fairways were in great shape as well sand traps were perfect although placed in bad spots....and by bad spots I simply mean I couldnt stay out of them because I'm not that good. The par 3s had amazing views and most of them you jave to fly over a canyon to hit the almost island greens mentally looking at it makes it much tougher to hit the green than it really is but that's part of it. Overall the course is breathtaking views all over front 9 is more mountains and jungle in the back ground back 9 is all ocean views. Overall though amazing course and well worth the price to play once in a lifetime for the views alone let alone the shape of the course I can only imagine peak season how good this course plays and all fairways are quite wide open shouldn't loose much...
Read moreFantastic golf experience. The course was very well maintained and a fun challenging experience. Before I get specific I want to say the positives definitely out weigh the negatives. If it was out of 10, I would have gone with a 9.
The positives: the views (see pictures), the course condition, the overall on golf course experience was great. The pro shop was also well stocked.
The negatives: the range wasn't great and we were told not to hit driver to warm up. The pro shop was understaffed with one person working while multiple people tried to check in and others were there just to buy merchandise. No ball washers, (and no towel to clean your ball or club), pacing was a bit slow and we waited on most holes. No ready made sandwiches that the beverage cart had, and nothing ready at the turn which led to 3 groups waiting to tee off on #10.
I would still recommend the course for sure. Just some areas they could improve for sure. I get members and locals may play the course quickly but adding 1 minute to the tee time gaps would make it smoother for people that are inevitably going to be taking pictures all the time as there are incredible views no matter which way you turn.
If it was out of 10, as I said earlier I would come in at a 9. Minor improvements could make the...
Read moreA couple holes have a nice view, but the cost is not near worth the experience. You can walk or hike for the same views for free. My friends and I rented clubs and they tried to double charge us for them. Luckily I had the receipt showing they were paid for. Then when we received our clubs they were just thrashed. The grips were falling apart, the club faces had dents and chips in them, and some of them even had electrical tape on them. We had three players and one ride along and they charged the ride along almost $40! We already paid for two carts so I found it unreal to pay just to have another person sit with the single player. There were no tees at the driving range so you couldn’t even warm up with your driver. When it came to play there was no order or anyone keeping the pace. We were stuck behind a group smoking weed and not letting us play through so we fell way behind schedule. Then the club house told us that we had to return our carts by 5:00 even if we had not finished our 18 holes. We finished around 5:30 because of the group in front of us, but they didn’t give us any issues for coming in late. However, we felt rushed trying to finish in time and did not really enjoy the course. There are cheaper courses that can give you the same or...
