Makai Grill and Golf Pro Shop — Restaurant in Hawaii

Note that I'm reviewing the Grill, not the Pro Shop. The Grill is a walk up window outside the Pro Shop. It provides a basic snack bar menu plus cocktails at the golf course. All the food is to-go. They have about a dozen tables in a very pleasant shaded setting where you can eat. My club sandwich was very basic single-layer toasted white bread. The turkey itself was good but there wasn't much of it. I enjoyed the salad. I thought the coconut shrimp was ok but my wife didn't like it much. The worst breakfast we have EVER had. $80 for 4 of us and we were given soggy scrambled eggs (no choice in how you want your eggs cooked), extremely overcooked dry bacon or lunch meat as the ham option, with toast and water which were the only decent part. We couldn’t even get real jam for the bread, instead it was high fructose corn syrup spread. We had to prepay for this and were given whatever the kitchen felt like throwing together.
