My Love's Diner — Restaurant in Kaufman

Great lil restaurant in Kaufman,TX on the town square. Great food, big portions, very friendly staff, good prices, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Got the grilled chicken, tilapia, and chicken fried chicken last night to go. Loved it all so much after i tasted everyones food ( just to make sure it was ok to eat haha) that we went back today and had breakfast inside the restaurant. I had the cheesy egg plate with 3 scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, hash browns, bacon and pancakes. Wife had the chicken and waffles with honey buttered smothered on top. I of course had to try both ours ( just to make sure again ) both were great and although I never liked the sound of chicken and waffles ( not a chicken strip fan really ) these were the best chicken strip I think I've ever er ate. My wife I'd a chicken strip fan and she agreed. Then we got my mom the Sr tuna salad sandwich to go she loved it as well. We ordered 3 deserts to go the chocolate cake, pineapple upside down cake, and key lime pie. Haven't tried them yet but if all is on par I am sure they are great as well, they look tasty. Staff was so nice and friendly I left a 30% tip. Very hard to find staff and waitresses this nice so they deserved it. Sweet tea and orange juice was also great. Will definitely be going back. They even have a after hrs part of loves diner next door that's for 21 and up after the sun goes down. You can't go wrong trying this place out. Big variety of foods available for breakfast...

My son and I love taking trips through the countryside, and last night we ended up in Kaufman Texas at an amazing little diner by the name of My love's Diner. The gentleman that waited on us was a complete gentleman very polite very attentive. Made sure our meal was cooked as we requested. My Tbone steak, and mashed potatoes, zuchinni, and squash were amazing perfectly seasoned. I took my time eating my meal and truly enjoyed every bite. My son could not stop raving about his burger. Our meals required no salt or pepper to be able to eat it. My coffee cup and my son's drink was never empty. There was also a young lady there that was just as polite and professional as he was and she wasn't even our waitress. Kudos to My love's Diner in Kaufman Texas. It doesn't matter how far you are it is worth the trip. I've been in many eateries, and have eaten my full meal with one cup of coffee. Those days are over. I would gladly make the trip to enjoy a delicious meal, and great customer service. I do not post reviews because of the afore mentioned above. I felt compelled to post a review for My love's Diner. First time visiting. Had business in Kaufman, so thought we would try it. Saturday morning, late breakfast before noon. Friendliest person there was the greeter/hostess who took our drink orders. Felt rushed by other waitstaff who thought we were supposed to know the menu, but this being our first time there. Food came out semi-warm, but no butter on waffle or toast. Had to wait until waitress got through taking an order to ask for the butter. By the time she got back with it, items were cold and wouldn’t even melt it. Had to ask for ketchup and hot sauce again! Ordered a cheese omelette with hash browns. Omelette over filled with stringy cheddar cheese that was cold, and most of the hash browns were overcooked and burnt, although they were the best thing I had on my plate, after finally getting the ketchup. Took most of omelette home, my dogs will enjoy it. Kind of pricey for what we got, even off the senior menu! I’ll stick with Waffle House any day for food that is usually consistent and worth the price they charge. Tried it, but, Won’t be returning to this...
