Pizza Paisan — Restaurant in Kaufman

I have lived my life critiquing pizza places. My first job at 13 years old was a dishwasher at a Pizza Restaurant that was owned by 2 Greek brothers. I ate the most amazing pizza with the REAL 100% mozzarella cheese in slices, Canadian bacon and canned (not fresh) mushrooms and finally cooked in a huge standing oven where each pizza was slide in with the pizza peel and rotated until perfect. I have searched for pizza that would bring back the memories of that wonderful Midwestern small town pizza experience. Well, after years of eating all of the big chain pizza places, managing 3 Breadeaux Pizza Shops in Iowa and complaining to myself of how terrible most pizza places really are, I finally tried Pizza Pasian. Omg! To my surprise I found a pizza that I can compare to my old pizza days. I prefer thin crust, mild but an even amount of sauce to the edge, Canadian bacon (not smoked ham), canned mushrooms (not fresh, yeah I know most of you like the fresh but I love the canned sliced ones and buy the Green Giant sliced mushrooms in the jars at Walmart just to eat as a snack) as well as the topper of 100% mozzarella cheese (not the mixed fake cheeses or the cheese blended with cream cheese. Pizza cheese must have the right amount of chewy texture and bite as well as that amazing stretch that can go on for miles. Lol) Pizza Pasian makes the pizza the closest to what I feel a REAL pizza is! If you haven't tried them, give this little pizza place a try. They have an abundance of toppings and of course thin or thick style crusts, fresh salads and a "Thank you, Come back!" to end your experience. Keeeping my old pizza...

Hands down this is the best pizza and service anywhere. We have been faithful customers for years. My daughter just had her wedding yesterday and since her and her husband's favorite food is pizza then only pizza would do for her wedding reception. Jeremy and his staff produced 103 pizzas of all varieties on time and cooked to perfection. His communication with me through the process was perfect and he delivered with 100% accuracy. I can't tell you how many of our guests that said that this pizza was the best they had ever eaten. When Jeremy told me after I completed the order that "I will not let you down and thanked me for being able to serve us" that left an impression of a guy doing things the right way that really cares about his customers. He even purchased a wedding present for the newly married couple. So thank you Jeremy for doing what you said you would do with 100% accuracy and care for our special day. I have lived in Kaufman for 10 years now and this was the first time to get food from here. OMG!! We have missed so much but not now! Lol...this was hands down the best pizza, wings, and garden salad I have ever had!! I got some of the Garlic Parmesan, Kickin Bourbon, and Lemon Pepper wings. The GP ones were by far the best but the Bourbon ones were a close 2nd for sure. The LP ones were ok but in my opinion the seasoning needed some more overall flavor. I also tried a thin crust pizza with pepperoni, pork sausage, and mushrooms and it was super yummy. This will definitely be my new go to place for pizza and wings from now on!! On a side note...they also offer a take and bake option for pizza which'll my husband got and took with him to work since he works over night and has access to an oven.
