I am torn between 2 and 3 stars. The staff is friendly, and they give plenty of sauces, cilantro, lime, and onions for the street tacos on a to go order. This was our first time trying the place so we wanted a bit of everything. We ordered a dozen barbacoa, a dozen chicken fajita, and a dozen beef street tacos to go. Each dozen cost us $30.00 after tax the bill was $97 and some change. I mean yes that is kind of expensive for tacos but I personally do not mind paying for quality, so I expected them to be great, but they were barely good. The chicken was the worst, it was very dry and had zero flavor, this is where the extra lime and sauce came in handy. If it wasn't for the sauce lime and cilantro, I wouldn't have eaten them. The barbacoa was very very greasy, I understand that it's going to have some grease but these were heavy on it, positive side all that grease added more flavor and the tacos needed as much help in that department as possible. The beef was pretty disappointing on the seasoning side as well but I do think these were the best out of the three we got. I understand that everyone has different preferences but personally I expect more spice and seasoning with my street tacos. I would prefer Little Mexico, Torteria Genesis, or Colunga over Asados. I do not think we will personally be trying...
Read moreOcober 2022 Adequate food but didn't taste like anything special. They do have a build your own bowl concept. The price was fine. I dined in for dinner, which cost $10 to $20 per person. There were two of us. I gave 3 stars for my review.
Update Feb. 2023 We dined in, and there were of us. The food was refreshingly good. The salsa was excellent. I ate 2 ramekins of it! I picked the "build your own nachos" for my meal. The sour cream and queso requested to go on it were left out. Luckily, there was still Monterey Jack Cheese on the nachos (or they would have been cheese-less). The server did an adequate job. Drinks were refilled in a timely manner. I drank water, yet the two others had unsweetened tea and a Diet Coke. The cost was $11.99 for the meal with the drinks at a separate price. My coworkers had the "build your own bowl" for $11.99, too. These were the lunch prices, so I would say to bring a twenty dollar bill per person if you want to: dine-in, get a drink, and tip your server. The atmosphere was fine, nothing too flashy or loud. This would be fine for kids, too, as well as large groups to eat together. This was a dine-in, lunch experience. I gave 4 stars...
Read moreAfter more then an hour inside sitting and waiting, I still can not say that I have eaten their food, so I can not provide an honest review of the good. Well, surely they are having a bad Thursday night. Never been here before, hey why not. Maybe 3 tables had people, a total of 10 guests plus my 6 at the time. By the time we placed our food order, there was a small family in the bar area. Ordered food. 2 bowls ,Carne asada. One taco plate, 3 orders for chicken tenders kids meals. Waited nearly an hour. At this point, the table of three that showed up after us, was already working their way through their plates. I remind them that we are waiting. Our food arrives. The three adult entrees were barely warm. Like, obviously been done a while and not sitting under a heat light. Chicken tenders were warm enough to be edible and not rubber. Kicked back big entrees, kids ate the kids meals.
Just wow. I realize you close at 9 pm, but we walked in about 7:20 pm and walked out hungry at 8:45, adults filled up on chips and salsa.
The salsa Verde tasted good.
Manager comp'd some...
