Edit- We had stopped using this location because of how poor the service has become. Today I used McDelivery for the first time ( and the last). This store left out half of our order. When I contacted the store the GM IMMEDIATELY told me that our order wasn’t through his store ( even though the McDonalds app said it was that store) I am appalled at in 2024 a female would be spoken to the way I was by this man! Particularly as a paying customer who supports his employment by patronizing this store. He REPEATEDLY interrupted me and would not listen whatsoever. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a merchant or felt as though I had to raise my voice to just try to be heard. I highly doubt I will receive a call from the store owner, but would highly encourage some sensitivity and diversity training for your GM. His behavior is NOT ACCEPTABLE towards women.
We’ve tried so hard to hang in there with this location, particularly with how short -staffed they ( and everyone) has been with the pandemic, but at this point being “short-staffed’ is more about having an excuse as opposed to this really perhaps being the case. We placed a mobile order- sat in the drive thru for over 10 minutes with zero communication. There was a truck being unloaded so I went to ask the employees there if they were still open as I and 5 other cars were all waiting to order. I was informed that they were ‘short-staffed’ as in.. 3 employees unloading the truck while one person was supposed to be taking order and one person preparing orders. With 5 employees present, but only 2 assisting customers this is where I believe it’s more about poor understanding of prioritizing the customers. We canceled our order and along with 3 other cars just left. We were waiting over 15 minutes and had absolutely no one communicating with us until I physically had to get out of the car and speak to the employees unloading the truck. We went to Wendy’s and it took less then 15minutes for us to drive there, order and receive food, and drive home. This is consistently our experience with this Wendy’s location and what we experienced experience tonight at your mcDonalds location is consistently our experience there as well-aka- poor and A LOT of waiting. Everyone is short staffed I believe it’s more about perspective as to how to tackle it at this point. I’m sure Wendy’s management would be happy to share some pointers if you...
Read moreMaybe visted this McDonald's one other time usually go to the other one on 2nd Ave. However on this day I pulled through the drive thru place my order and couldn't hear through the speaker advise the girl of that fact and she stated only my drink order told her again the order so was waiting for the screen to refresh with correct order and did not, so I continued on to the window. The girl opened the window I stated I'm sorry could you repeat my order I just want to make sure you got it because the speaker isn't working. This girl would not repeat my order just stood there with her hand out motioning me to give her the money again I said can you repeat my order and once again she stood there and did nothing after several times requesting this she then closes the window!!!! I was like what is this girls problem so she' standing in front of her register and proceeds to fold her fingers and play with her nails I'm now totally dumb founded I yell out now seeing how she closed the window and say get me your manager now!!!! Had to say or yell twice I believe if not 3 times for her to get the manager she whips around then a male comes to the window I explained what just occured in a shock and awww explanation I just couldn't believe it what had just happened!!!! The gentlemen apologizes and says she gets like that at times!!! Really?????? I said dude if you just told me that then why in God's name would you put her at the window interacting with the public?????? When she obviously has no commucation skills much less public interaction I say she doesn't belong at the window she belongs in the back flipping burgers!!!! I was just absolutely applaud I've never had this happen to me in any fast food establishment in my entire life. Never will I ever never go to that McDonald's ever again and I will tell this story to any one that I know and come in contact with that know me!!! Heck I was almost to the point that maybe it's because I have olive/brown skin could it have been a racial issue with her or the establishment???? Things that makes you go hmmmmmm!!!! But...
Read moreThe food itself was fine. The kid taking orders was really nice, but the manager needs let go. As other reviews have stated, she literally looked at me and promptly turned around so she didn't have to help me. Turned around and saw I was still there, she hollered at the kid who was taking orders to help me instead of her helping me. Which I wouldn't have been there in the first place had she given me my full order. I had placed a mobile order which is wonderful at ever other store I've been to. I'm not sure if they're aware I can see the screens when my order pops up, but took a solid 3 minutes of them staring at the screen talking and not making my order. 3 minutes is a good chunk of time in fast food. Especially when doing nothing. When I was waiting for the 10 minutes it took to get my food, which overall isn't that long, she left someone hanging to dry in the drive through as she wasn't paying attention and a staff member had to direct her to her job. She did apologize to them though for the wait, so there's her plus. But as I'm eating in the lobby, I shouldn't hear a manager in a rude tone, and loud enough for me sitting on the opposite side of the lobby, telling her workers to find something to do. As a manager, tell your people what to do, it's literally your job. Update: husband wanted a McFlurry for the ride home so I go order and a different kid from the nice one aforementioned takes my order the walks to the manager asks her, as she clearly in the middle of something, to make my order and shes obviously unhappy as he walks to the back without offering a real explanation as to why he couldn't make my order. She makes my order then sets it on the counter and walks away. No thank you, no here you go, no eye contact, no acknowledgement of me being right there as she attidudey Judy sets my McFlurry down and...
