Donegal Saloon — Restaurant in Kearny

I am 23, and I just moved here from Florida. When I walked in the door the bartender, a young white guy, started harassing me because he thought I was underage. Yes I look young. But I am legally allowed to drink in your bar, and I had valid ID. He looked at my ID, bent the hell out of it, and then handed it back saying he couldnt take my ID because it was from Florida. Seriously ridiculous. The whole bar thought it was funny. It wasn't fake, I've been legally able to drink for 2 years. They don't deserve the business. I took my business a couple blocks down to O'Neills in North Arlington and got served, it's a much nicer...

This is a local bar so it's nothing fancy, but they have a pool table and darts & depending on when you go it can be truly busy or have only a few people in it. The bar is large & they have Guinness on tap which is always a plus. Bartenders are nice & aren't in your face or pushing you to drink, just giving you your space.
