OH My Dog — Local services in Kearny

My pup was there for 5 hours……loved the haircut on my pup and the accessories and would go back just for that however i don’t think i will go again for grooming services, i took my 3 month old pup (zina) for a grooming she’s just under 5lbs. i called the same day asking if they had availability and the guy told me to come in at 3. I come in at 3 to drop her off and show them the haircut i want which was just shaving her down and shaping her face. the guy told me to give them 3 hours and she would be ready and they would call. 3 hours and a half go by and still no call so i go to the place and ask if she was ready they said no and they would call 20 minutes before. it’s now 7:36 and my fiancé decides to call and they let him know she’ll be ready in 20 minutes. I didn’t get my pup till 8pm. I’m not sure whether she ate or drank during those 5 hours.I understand that she may have moved a lot since she was a puppy but they could have called and told me they were going to take longer. This was my first time coming here and i didn’t talk about this at the store because i was so tired and just wanted to get my pup home to care for her. i’m not going to bash this business because they do good work but i definitely think they take on more than what they can handle. Horrible place I was on my way to them 3 times well twice because the 3rd I said u deserve a. I show A**. Every time I’m in my way he calls to reschedule I tell him I’m on the way my appointment is later not now I’m early their reply I have too many dogs I don’t know what to do unprofessional pace that I will stay away from period unless u Spanish u MIGHT I REPEAT MIGHT BE LIKED. Other than that good luck. And to read the reply from a negative review and see their reaction as a suppose to be a professional business. The guy said we charge 45 the owner is not rude blamed it all on the customer instead of being a professional business and apologizing and saying we apologize for any misunderstanding and hope to see you again in the future no the reply is disrespectful with emojis and kisses how professional is that. Oh My Dog is not like typical pet shops that you see..they are more than typical.. it is a blessing & extraordinary!! I highly recommend this place of wonders and that's where we got our two additional members to the family, Toby & Ruby! 😇 One is a pure Shih-tzu and the other is a Maltese mixed with a Shih-tzu. They are adorable and caring. I am glad that oh my dog brought them to our lives. Anyways, the dogs there aren't the only things that I love..it is the caring people there. They are so kind and understanding.. .& that's what a lot of customers want right? A calm understanding owner and people. They have the best customer service that a pet shop needs.
