Ok so I’m officially/unofficially announcing myself as a ambassador of the Indian food organization. I don’t know how but this year in particular I’ve had more Indian food than I did in my lifetime. This spot is like a food truck/ outdoor dining type of spot. You see all the trucks passing by and see a lot of selfish idiots driving on the exit lane. But annnnywaysss…. Food is great and the service even better. These guys are really kind and respectful. When I see happy people making food I know that the food will be clean and great. Portion is worth it cause I definitely can break this down into two meals. I got the goat curry and vegetable samosa. Curry had very tender meat and full of seasoning. Not oily at all. The samosa was flakey and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There’s a lot of people walking by and grabbing food. From truckers to even locals. I would support this business again. Chai tea is awesome as well. I paid 18.99 for lamb curry 7.00 for vegetable curry 3.00 for chai tea And $5 tip. See you next time

We stopped while passing through Salem. We had a very tasty lunch. We tried the Saag Paneer, Shahi Paneer, Butter Naan and Garlic Naan. The food was great. Portions were very much sufficient. They even threw in some Indian pickles and onions, something that we usually eat along with such kind of food. They were very hospitable in also offering me some Indian tea while we waited on our food, while in the cold and rain that was upon us. The people running this food cart were very sweet and friendly. They're from Punjab, India and you can tell that they were great at their skill coz the food was authentic dhaba style. Loved the whole experience. Would definitely recommend this for Indian food if you're in the area.

I got the butter chicken super spicy, with a garlic Naan. It was excellent and I would definitely come back next time I am here. It is located just behind the pilot within easy walking distance of the truck parking. I would recommend anyone looking for a restaurant in the area and if you've never tried Indian food this is one of the better Indian food trucks that is within walking distance of truck parking. They have a nice covered outdoor seating area with two wooden picnic tables and it is covered and has a tarp to shield against the wind. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My Mom was South Indian, and I learned how to cook from her like you wouldn't believe. I say that to establish that I can actually judge when Indian food is good, authentic, and has the right flavors. This place surprised me and far surpassed my expectations. Everything I've tried here has tasted wonderful, and was fresh, and prepared on the fly upon order. So, it does take about 10-12 minutes of waiting in the hot sun for your food to be ready once you've ordered - but it is so well worth the wait. The ingredients all seemed fresh, including the chicken, rice and cilantro and lime garnishes. The spices and flavors were authentically North Indian, and were all in the right proportions for each particular dish. And most importantly this place has never sent me into any kind of gastro-intestinal...shall we say...distress. The first few times I tried the food here, I choose to spend the night at the Pilot Truck Stop - just in case, well, you know. Thankfully, it never became an issue. So much so, in fact, that the past few times, I've felt confident enough in their cooking that I've taken the food out, and eaten it in my truck in a quiet, desolate spot with no facilities around whatsoever. Eat and enjoy with confidence!

I would highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Naan, and especially the Chicken Biryani. And lastly, Monica (the proprietor) is a total sweetheart. Very friendly people (she and her brothers all work together), and they seem eager and happy to please customers. I do not think it's a stretch to give them 5-stars - especially considering they are whipping up such great culinary delights in a food trailer. It almost makes having to drive on I-5 with idiot Oreganians all over the...

We expected the food to the best as we were seen the review on their page. We were really hungry and yet the food wasn’t worth it to us. We bought three partha’s and the condiments we got weren’t as many it was supposed to come with. We got two little butters and achar. We had to buy the yogurt separately and was very expensive as well. It wasn’t tasty at all. We ended up adding our own spices in the truck. Luckily we had some. Lastly we bought two cups of tea. The tea honestly tasted like water. The water and milk didn’t incorporate together with the spices. It was warm and did t taste like a tea. The service was also horrible. The staff weren’t friendly, nice and was incompetent to what I was saying. They rudely shut the window on my face as I was requesting for the receipt. She knows how to charge people hefty prices but she can’t give us the receipt. I also called and complained about the food, services and tea and the person on the phone kept saying “ok ok”. He didn’t seem to want to listen to me or my concerns. If it was up to me then I wouldn’t be giving them a 1 star. They don’t deserve a star from me. I wouldn’t be eating at this place anymore ever again. Thought I am a trucker and need to make multiple stops. This isn’t going to be mi e from now on. And I’ll pass this to my other friends who are truckers as well so they know what the service is like at this spot. Very unhappy with...

We’ve passed by this place many times without having the time to try it. Today we made it a point to take our break here and try it. It is very rare that we are truly impressed with the different places we try on the road. WOW. Cannot put into words, and the word amazing is not enough for this homemade perfectly seasoned and cooked Indian cuisine. For me, it’s either really good or not so good, but this place is exceptional. We’ve only had food once before that was comparable, which was also homemade by our friends from Malaysia and India. WOW. I had the butter chicken and bread with potatoes. My husband had a lamb dish and said aside from the lamb his grandmother made, this was hands down the best lamb he’s had. The flavor was excellent and it was very very tender. Amazing! Will not pass up this place when passing through. It was about a 10-15 minute wait because it was all made fresh with high quality ingredients—but worth the wait. They suggested calling ahead with the order so it’s ready when we pass through in the future—by all means, will do. Thank you Bright Indian Food for making truly amazing food for the folks on the road especially—good healthy and satisfying food can be hard to...
