Ordered from the menu as well as Buffet. Good for kids- finally an Indian restaurant place that keeps the Butter Chicken mild enough for Toddlers. The weekend Buffet was also mild enough for older kids who can tolerate a bit more spice. Adults would definitely need onions, raw green chillies and lime or they might find it not spicy enough. The naan seems to be real naan- fresh and crisp- so it was delicious! Service was excellent both by Owner and Waitstaff who checked on us regularly. Owner was very friendly and super helpful. Food arrived in a timely fashion and was professionally served: Serving spoons, plates, cutlery everything that a diner would need was brought out all at once. Im excited about that because many Indian restaurants have completely undertrained waitstaff- usually forget to provide these basics unless asked for.
Im taking away 2 stars because the PRICES are a bit much for Keller and the PORTION SIZE on the entrees is far too small for the price. Secondly the buffet I had was heavy on Peas and Potato which featured across many dry dishes and curries. No pickle, papad, plain yogurt or Biriyani on the Buffet- thats usually standard on almost all Indian buffets in DFW. More VARIETY needed! Mango Lassi was good and not too sweet- again you don’t want too much sugar for kids so...
Read moreA very low key and unassuming place. However, this is the premier Indian and Nepali restaurant destination in North Texas, located in the heart of Keller Tx. I need to go to counseling at this point because my addiction to this place is on another level. The Owner and Staff are extremely kind and I have enjoyed all the items they recommend. All entrees always have the perfect combination of spice, portions and flavor. They offer a larger menu selection compared to other restaurants, so they are sure to have something for everyone in your party. They have a well priced buffet for lunch daily and have recently opened up the bar for drinks. I can share an appetizer and eat my entree, which will leave me in a food coma for the next 12 hours. I can’t say enough great things about this place! With the cost of eating out now days, I am hyper critical on what I get for what I spend. Aroma has the quality and service to match the price! We typically go for an early dinner and it is never crowded, but there is a constant flow of to-go orders being picked up. So if you don’t feel like getting out and want something delivered, this is a great place to grab some of your favorite...
Read moreI highly recommend Aromas.
I was greeted by kind and friendly people.
I ordered the MoMo dumplings with chicken, and the vegetable samosa. The combination of spices and the tender chicken was a treat to the tongue with every bite. I dared not to leave half as I intended for left overs because the food was so fresh and thoughtfully created for me. Microwaving it would be a crime! The sauces that accompanied the dumplings and samosas were just as delicious.
The garlic naan was massive, magnifico! 🤌🏼
This place is affordable and a hidden gem In Keller. As a person of color (Latina), I am delighted to have options other than the typical Mexican food and burger joint. As this is one of the many newly ethnic cuisines introduced to the area.
Tucked away in a corner behind the sonic, you’ll want to skip that greasy franchised fat burger for something that is made with great consideration for your tastes buds and health.
The mood inside gives you that exotic hole in the wall feel.
And for my wait, they gave me an extra free Mango Lasse, you’ll most certainly want to try that as well, as it balances the pallet between spice and sweet!
GO!
