I think I have finally found the perfect Mexican restaurant in the Keller, Grapevine, Southlake area. I have gone to several restaurants for Mexican food, Maria Cuca's has won my taste buds over all the rest. Now when I drove up I had hope because the parking was full so much that in the back of the building parking happened over a curb onto grass and to me that was already a sign of goodness! When me and my brother walked in we were greeted right away by two young girls with smiles on their faces and a personality to go with it. We asked to be seated outside on the patio because it was the end of a hot day but it felt nice. We got our chips and salsa right away and was asked if we wanted the hot green sauce now normally I don't, but I tried anyway and this one was a nice amount of heat with good flavor which normally you can't taste because of the heat. We placed our order and waited with drinks. After some time the food had not come out yet. The manager came to our table to check on us a couple of different times, but we really didn't think too much about it, I told my brother maybe it just means it's going to be worth it. So we sat and waited some more We were hungry, but it was ok enjoying the atmosphere and our server and manager kept checking on us. The manager and server both let us know that there was a mishap in the kitchen. They were very attentive fresh drinks and chips and salsa were brought out to us while we were waiting. The manager did compensate for our ticket because the long wait which was a pleasant surprise! By this point I was definitely ready to eat and let me tell you when they brought that food out my eyes were big for the amount of food that we had received! I got the enchilada dinner my brother got the chimichanga (the biggest!!!) had to be about 3-4 inches long! We immediately dug into our food and they still brought out beef instead of chicken for my brother. They apologized and took his plate back immediately and fixed that as well. This whole entire time they have been checking on us talking to us, communicating with us about everything that is happening. Even though this was our first time at this location and we had this experience WE will be returning. The service was top notch even with the mishaps and the FOOD so worth the time, drive, wait, money spent. I could not even finish what I had ordered which will be eaten for lunch today and I'm positive that it will be just as good! Please give Maria Cuca's a try. To me it was worth it! Where I live they don't do Mexican food right and Mexican food is my stomach's heart! WORTH IT!👍😁😝P.S they have another location that just opened in Arlington. I will be going to that one as well with my daughter that lives...

Maria Cuca's has been a beloved staple in our dining experiences for years, and it never fails to impress. From the moment you step in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. It's clear that the management takes excellent care of their team, as many of the staff have been there for years, adding to the sense of community and consistency.
The menu at Maria Cuca's is a true celebration of Mexican cuisine, offering a wide array of delicious options that never disappoint. Whether you're in the mood for classic tacos, enchiladas, or their signature dishes, everything is prepared with authenticity and love. Their margaritas are some of the best around—perfectly balanced and always refreshing.
As someone with a Mexican mother who is incredibly discerning when it comes to Mexican food, I can confidently say that Maria Cuca's passes the test with flying colors. My mom loves this place, and if a Mexican mom loves a Mexican restaurant, you know it's genuinely exceptional.
Moreover, the service at Maria Cuca's is consistently outstanding. We've never had a bad experience; the staff is attentive, friendly, and always ensures that your dining experience is top-notch.
In summary, Maria Cuca's is a fantastic restaurant that offers great food, excellent margaritas, and superb service. If you're looking for a place that truly understands and celebrates Mexican cuisine, look no further. Highly...
Read moreReally disappointed in visit today. First off we ordered the sampler platter, but the nachos were ruined as they stacked them and placed the other food on top of them, so to pull them apart you lost all the cheese off the nachos. The beans tasted spoiled as well.
Then next there was the dilemma where I clearly ordered regular coke, but was given a diet and charged a diet. I question to myself if it was done on purpose because I am a little over weight. While coke is not the healthiest drink, diet is extremely worse and the waiter was not attentive through out our dining experience so it was not easy to get it corrected. The drink should have been removed from the bill since it could not be addressed until the bill arrived. On my prior visit I had a similar problem where I ordered sweet tea and waitress brought a unsweet tea. Clearly some of the staff does not understand english clearly. Others at my table confirmed both times what I ordered, so the confusion was not on my end.
Lastly, the manager was not friendly and charged us extra for an item that I clearly said we didn't want but were open to a substitute if allowed. She went with a substitute but didn't inform us that it was not a substitute but an extra charge on my bill, which we found out from our...
