I was so excited for and really wanted to try this place! One thing Keller has been missing for years is a nice seafood restaurant. The outside of the restaurant is inviting and appealing with a nice outdoor patio I see every day on my drive home from work. I was immediately greeted with disappointment as I walked in and realized rather than a dining experience , this is just a modernized fast food experience. It gave more vibes of a mess hall or food court with plastic trays , plastic buckets for food scraps , and a long line with no menus available due to how busy it was. We ordered the Tejun favorite, a crab cake , and an entree of catfish. Perhaps my least favorite part of the experience is the cacophony of people's beepers and buzzers going off as they are notified their food is ready for pickup. The workers all huddled at the front and had a cart where they were bussing tables immediately next to the bathrooms. Not very appetizing. And no ice was in the ice dispenser for drinks. The Catfish was very oily and had a weird yellow tinge to it likely from the coating seeping into the fish itself. It didn't seem particularly fresh, probably pre frozen on account of how fast it came out to us. The crab cake and alligator was delicious enough but the sauces weren't anything special. Really could have used something fresh and vibrant like some herbs and citrus to cut through all the fried food. The hush puppies were a huge disappointment. Fries were tasty enough but could have used an extra 15-20 seconds in that fryer to really get them crispy . It really was just a modernized , overtly Christian , and not particularly positive version of a Long John Silvers. Nice...

Being that this place has been open for 2 weeks roughly. I'm gonna give them another chance after the grand opening in October. BUT no company is great without a bad review to help steer them in the right direction. I specifically went for the atchafayla being that im from southern Louisiana my self. First thing first. The fist was superb. But the etuofee needed some salt / cayenne pepper. It tasted more like shrimp creole than what it was listed as. Maybe switch to crawfish instead of shrimp for this particular dish. The potato and corn was a great addition . The boiled shrimp and lobster was very Mid. Maybe consider boiling in Louisiana crab/ shrimp boil for a few mins then sprinkle the seasoning on top. Fried shrimp needs a tad bit more flavor /seasoning. Boudin Balls were bland it didn't incorporate the actual flavor and meaning of boudin balls. Service was great. Wasn't a long wait maybe 15mins before my buzzer started buzzing . The Owner and Daughter were very pleasant and welcoming. Even when our order got confused we still got the correct food make swiftly. Which is a bigg plus. The atmosphere is great especially being able to sit on the dock and enjoy the weather. Overall I give this as 3/5 . Will give this another try after they've been open for some time. PLEASE ADD MORE FLAVOR TO YOUR DISHES. YOU HAVE ALL THE POTENTIAL to be GREAT you're in a GREAT spot. We just need them flavors to...

The place is amazing!!! We tried, the lunch shrimp peel with corn and potatoes, kids chicken nuggets, boudin balls, kids fried shrimp, beignets, and banana pudding.

Shrimp Peel - Absolutely delicious. Shrimp tasted very fresh, corn and potatoes seasoned to perfection!

Kids Chicken nuggets- okay this one took us by surprise. These chicken nuggets were out of this world good. We literally got two orders to go because we were sooo impressed.

Boudin balls- not a fan. Lacked flavor, dry on the inside, wouldn’t recommend.

Kids fried shrimp- delicious, flavorful shrimp, beer battered fries are exceptional and the hush puppies I could eat about 1000 of.

Beignets - fluffy, amazing flavor, would absolutely order again.

Banana pudding - we got this to go so haven’t tried it yet but looks great.

The atmosphere is wonderful, staff is friendly, restaurant is beautiful and the fact that there is scripture all over the walls is just the best thing ever.

My husband and I could not be more impressed and will 100% be driving the 40 mins often to come back and dine...

I had the catfish platter, 3 filets. WOW that was a lot of food, huge portion sizes. The catfish was so thick & juicy, just yummy. The breading was a bit overwhelming, maybe a little less fried dough; but was still very good. The fries were also tasty. They got a bit soggy under the catfish unfortunately, I squeezed lemons over the catfish. The hush puppies were amazing! So well cooked, tender, great flavor. They give you one small portion of what appeared to be homemade tarter sauce. The sauce was wonderful, just needed more. I went & asked & they gladly offered more. Just would've been nice to already have 2. We also ordered some beignets & the banana pudding. Both were great. The beignets were so tasty & the pudding was just right. Just loved this place. And the best part, they had scriptures throughout the restaurant on the walls; just loved this. And they had Christian music playing in the background. Way to make a strong stance for the Bible & Jesus. Will definitely be back.

First time visiting. Had lunch with a friend and the food was ok. I ordered the fish and shrimp, the fish was a tad bit too salty for me. The shrimp was pretty good. I think I’ll try something else next time though. The service was great. Plenty of seating, however I think the tables are a bit too close. The gentleman behind me kept bumping my chair and eventually apologized and also stated the food was good but the chairs are too close. My friend’s chair also kept getting bumped. There was plenty of parking and even an outdoor patio area. Tables all have a bucket in the middle for shells and such. Overall it was ok.
