Pretty cool selection of beer, a couple of ciders and some wine. About 80% local/Texas selection. There is something for everyone. It was my first time there Friday night. I was alone and there were about 10 people in the bar. My reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was just a bit on customer service. I mentioned it was my first time there and it really didnt change things. A great opportunity was missed to build a customer who lives very close.
One lady was pouring and I did not get acknowledged for bit. Thats ok, but even if they were pouring for other people it was small enough and not enough people there to not be able to make eye contact and say hello. I finally ordered got a sample of my drink and liked it so ordered a full glass. After sitting and drinking for a bit, i noticed the line getting pretty long maybe three or four other groups came it. The lady by this time had sat down and a table of guys jumped up and two went to work behind the counter. So they all must have worked there. Then the lady had to leave her meal and help get through the line. Either way, there could have been a more open and acknowledging welcome to all the groups that came in. I wasn't looking for the Cheers bar yelling, "Norm" out type of a welcome, but at least eye contact and an awareness. Just seemed to be going through the motions.
Other than that little quirkiness, it was a good experience. I would love to go again with a friend or even on a date. There is limited seating outside, but tons inside. Perfect spot for a sip. It wasnt too loud this night, but imagine it could be if there was something besides NASCAR on. Also there are a few food options which seem reasonably priced. No one got that while I was there, so i cannot say how good that...
Read moreThis is a great brewery that is clean with competitive beer pricing however, not at all happy with the way they process sales to debit card purchases. I called the brewery yesterday to ask about an extra $15 charge hold on my debit card. Had to call back to back because noone would answer the first two times, although it was an hour past open time. Finally got to speak with the only staff associate there, so he claimed. After explaining my issue he rudely explained how they hold half the amount the tab was like gas stations do. I have never experienced this at this place in the past and he said the amount being held would go back into my account as of yesterday. It is now two days later and an original tab of $10.83 still sits in my account as an expendeture of $25. The associate's manner in handling the issue was highly dissapointing therefore it will result in me taking my desire to drink craft beer elsewhere where I have been given top notch...
Read moreNeat little place in the Keller Town Square area. Was really surprised to find as many beers on tap as I did. Had no idea this place existed but was recommended by a friend. With several plates on the wall at the Fort Worth flying saucer, I came here after a charity fun run with this same friend and was really amazed to see the eclectic bunch of small releases and bigger names in the microbrew industry. We were here to get a beer, not enjoy any food. Really didn't see a whole lot of food options but then again we really weren't looking. Google seems to recommend items as if they do have food. If I lived down the street from this place, I would probably find myself here a few times a night. Those who live in the condos above who are beer aficionados have a nice little place within walking distance. This was my first and only visit, so I don't really know how often the taps rotate. Neat little place, and will...
