Mickey’s Place — Restaurant in Kennedy Township

It's a nice friendly atmosphere real friendly bartenders and good dance music if you like to dance pool tables dart boards and have a back door outside where you can karaoke it's beautiful out in the back in the summer. Okay I got a new review for Mickey's place me my son Angelo and my other son sonny and my grandson Felix, ate at Mickey's place we heard they had good chicken and boy were they good they're like chicken nuggets but with real chicken meat in them. We also had the zucchini planks they were delicious and perfectly cooked and then I had a hand battered and a beer battered piece of fish and the beer battered melted in my mouth it was delicious the hand breaded was kind of dryer but it was still good and a price for all of us to eat there was only$55 so if you decide to go there and eat ask for Kaylee she's a great waitress very easy to look at and she's very professional and brings you drinks when you need them extra napkins when you need them she's right there. Went there for karaoke 8:00 until 11:00 which is on Thursday night. This is a smoking establishment so I normally don't stay for other peoples smoking habits. The young lady employee was so nice when I mentioned my concern for the smoking atmosphere, she suggested other places where there was more ventilation there but I eventually left happy with her help and concern. As to the karaoke the quality of the singers voices was very good singing mostly slower type songs. None of the younger peoples music where they annoyingly have to shout the whole song if you can call that singing. I found only the one negative and that of course is the smoking, I would be happy to return if they could find a way to make a smoking and non smoking section. UPDATE: They now have a separate non smoking room for Karaoke this is a huge improvement, thanks to this management for providing a new level of entertainment options. They deserve a 5...

Put $20 in a slot machine and the machine was broken. I printed a ticket for $19.65 and the bartender refused to give me a dime back. She stated that the games were “entertainment only” I said I didn’t win anything. I literally just wanted my money back from their broken machine. All the games in the back were a scam and a rip off. How convenient a bar collects money from slots but doesn’t give a dime back- with broken machines. Couple of ladies around me had issues with the games too. How is having your money stolen by a broken machine “entertainment” ?? I still kept my ticket as proof. Awful place. Bowling was decent but this whole thing made me mad, will not be back.
