If I could give a rating of -10, I would. I visited the casino and restaurant with my husband, best friend, and her husband. The experience was a complete disappointment from start to finish. First, I asked for a lemon drop martini, only to be told they didn’t have Grey Goose. My friend ordered a baked potato, and later they informed us they were out of it. I ordered charbroiled oysters, but they never arrived with my meal. The manager came out with excuses, but no solutions. It was clear they weren’t interested in fixing the situation. To make matters worse, the waiter took my husband’s plate before he was even finished eating. I’m beyond displeased with the service. It’s unbelievable that a casino would provide such poor customer service. In a state where the food industry thrives on customer satisfaction, I’m shocked this place is still open. My recommendation: save yourself the trouble. My tip: -100. My experience: -1,000,000. Will I ever come back? Absolutely not.

This is a beautiful restaurant but it’s unfortunate that you have to walk through a heavily smokey casino to get to it. The complimentary bread and dips were delicious. We started with the Charred Oysters. They were okay but there are much better options in the area. The other guest loved them however. We both ordered the Chef’s Fresh Fish but cooked different ways. It was interesting and maybe slightly overcooked. I had to fix my own baked potato. They brought me a plain potato with all the fixings on the side, which as a first for me. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again but if you’re in the area or the casino, then definitely give it a try.

Celebrated our 36th Anniversary dinner at this lovely restaurant. 1st the bad, it's inside the Treasure Chest casino which is an all smoking casino so you are hit with that nasty cigarette smoke upon entering but once you get to the restaurant, the smell disappears. The service was outstanding as was the food. We started with the artichoke appetizer which was so yummy. The steak was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Honest Review here. Made a reservation for an Anniversary dinner, in hopes to find a new local steakhouse. I should have stuck with the normal go to, of Ruths or Flemmings. The food here is terrible. Strike 1 was not having the selected wine in stock, things happen and there was a second selection made. Strike 2 was ordering the french onion soup and it never came until realized 5 mins before the entrees came. Although they did take it off the order, and apologized I felt as though the server should have been more aware. Strike 3 was the food. Very mediocre, very basic and plain. The seafood beignets tasted frostburned, cold inside and they even used small frozen crawfish on the topping. I ordered the Prime rib, king and half was fatty, unedible. It was cooked medium as requested but again, unlike other steakhouses it was served on a plain white plate with no "sizzle". The other Entrée was a filet. Tough as nails, and overcooked. Asked for medium rare/medium and recieved Medium well/well. The sides were baked potatoes, which we received 3 for some odd reason. The creamed spinach was ok, very garlicky flavored. The service was ok at first, but felt forgotten about as we sat there with no food, no refills, and the place was nearly empty. I was expecting a romantic type atmosphere but being in a casino, those expectations were cut short. People walking in with shorts, flipflops, etc. Who came in from the casino to grab a bite to eat or a drink. If this place hopes to stay around they need to make changes ASAP. I will not return, or recommend this place to anyone...

On the above date 8/2/2025 I went into The Alderman Steakhouse with the intent on enjoying a great meal as I always do. I was seated in Brennan's section/area. He approached me , told me what today's specials were, which was a steak with lobster toppings. I said "that sounds awesome," and processed to order it. As I was midway through eating my food, Brennan approached me while carrying another plate stating "he gave me the wrong order." As confused as I was, I was even more confused that he wanted the already eaten food back in place of my correct order. I stated that to him, which he agreed how confusing it seems. Brennan never once indicated if it was policy or a rule to return the wrongfully served food. However, upon placing my original order down he strongly insinuated that I "look after him" or "throw him a lil extra something" as in a tip. I felt extremely uncomfortable and bullied after he repeatedly ask this of me multiple times. I request if my remaining food could be boxed up to go as it has been done on previous visits to the Steakhouse, Brennan refused. I boxed my food myself, took care of the check (in which my comps covered) and headed towards the exit, Brennan took it upon himself to loudly call my name and try to chastise me about not leaving a tip. I am a true believer of tipping, as I myself have worked in the food industry, with that being said, Brennan's service wasn't deserving of a tip. Brennan's approach and professionalism was very disrespectful, disheartening, as well as disappointing to you guy’s establishment.

The best part of the meal was my water. If you’re a foodie, please skip this place.

We ordered the fried green tomatoes, wedge salad, Delmonico steak (medium) topped with lump crab meat and a loaded potato, prime rib (medium rare) with broccolini.

  1. the fried green tomatoes were 90% breading to 10% tomato; I think the tomatoes sat in the breading so long that the water was pulled out from the tomatoes;
  2. the salad was really fresh, the dressing was definitely house-made, but… the bacon pieces were cold, so the bacon fat was congealed pieces together;
  3. the delmonico and lump crab was tasty and cooked to perfection; the potato was generous in size, but wasn’t cooked all the way through; And finally…
  4. I think I got the last piece of prime rib, because it was definitely not medium rare. It was well done and crispy around the edges. The au jus and horseradish cream did make the meat redeemable. Our server did try her very best - giving the chef feedback about the fried green tomatoes and getting them comped for us - but the kitchen didn’t do her any favors. I wish they would have let me know that it was the last piece of prime rib and definitely not medium rare, so someone else could have had it if that would be their preference.
