Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Kenner

My first 3-scooper🍦EVER in my entire life! 😂 S’mores, Cookie dough, and Strawberry …Basking Robins could’ve kept the s’mores scoop, tho. 👎🏼

And I even sampled the flavor before welcoming it to the clan, so it’s not like I made an uninformed decision. I guess that particular flavor is better in small portions. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The staff was courteous and patient at us sampling their entire inventory. The atmosphere was decent, but it could use some additional (indoors or outdoors) seating for how busy it tend to gets. We had to stand outside because of the size of our party, but would’ve preferred to sit indoors to have dessert- specially since it was hot outside and it was nighttime.

Back to my ice cream: Luckily, I strategically added the s’mores scoop to the top of my ice cream tower, so after a few licks, it got the boot! 🚮 I’ll stick to real S’mores dessert from...

This location is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The interior was very clean and the employees all had on masks. The lady packing the ice cream didn’t have on gloves, but I watched to make sure her hands didn’t touch the ice cream.

So I’ve been on the hunt for really good butter pecan ice cream. I’ve tried several local ice cream shops and grocery stores, but nothing tasted like what I remembered from my childhood. Finally, I thought about Baskin Robbins and decided to give it a try. This is it...the best butter pecan ice cream ever! I got a pint of butter pecan and a pint of creole cream cheese ice cream. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We didn't have masks and so I was going to ask to buy some for my boyfriend, myself, and our 3 kids. Before I could even ask one of the 3 very rude young girls behind the counter told us to leave. On our way out I told them I was going to buy each of us a mask and a different one of the very rude girls behind the counter told my boyfriend they'd rather us not eat there! After being treated so horribly in front of our 3 kids who were so scared by the encounter it brought them to tears we will NEVER return to that location even if someone offered to pay us!!!
