Kenner Supermarket — Local services in Kenner

This place (technically the attached restaurant now called Palmera's) is where I had my first meal out after Katrina.

We've been coming here for years. Pay close attention to the Honduran selections on the extensive menu, few of which are available to go at the grocery next door: pupusas, nacatamals, enchiladas (NOT anything like the Tex-Mex namesakes).

Came here quite often when I lived in Kenner for the carne asada. I have moved to Slidell so I do not come often, well I drove from Slidell to buy the carne asada and went straight home to cook it and when I opened the bag the smell was horrific, the meat was bad.
