This star isn't for the quality of the food because I only had one bite of the pizza. I gave this establishment one star because of poor management. I ordered the Margherita pizza over the phone tonight and sent my husband to pick it up. The description of this particular pizza was "pesto sauce topped with fresh mozzarella etc." When it arrived the cheese was melted, there was no pesto and all the ingredients albeit "fresh" weren't my definition of "fresh". Being a novice pizza eater I expected fresh to be raw tomatoes and mozzarella. When I have ordered salads from the Italian Pie that are also advertised with "fresh" mozzarella it came with fresh semi-soft mozzarella just like every image that comes up in a Google search. It was delicious. So my mistake. When I phoned the manager I expected a quick resolution; a "what can I do to make your experience better?" kind of reaction. Instead I was given the definition of pesto sauce. I had always assumed that pesto sauce was green seeing that it is made from minced basil and olive oil but this manager wanted to make sure that I knew that pesto is in fact clear. He also lectured me that fresh just meant the ingredients were freshly put onto the pizza before going into the oven. Instead of arguing back and forth on technicalities I just wanted the problem to be resolved so I asked how he planned on doing that. He finally agreed to have someone come to my house to retrieve the pizza and they would give me my money back. I should be happy now right? WRONG! What is happening to customer service in this country? I am not a person who raises her voice. But why is it okay to argue with a customer? There was no apology, no "this one's on the house and here's a free dessert". Nothing. Just an argumentative man in charge with no sense of...
Read moreMy wife and I had our Sunday dinner delivered here. I had the chicken cacciatore, she had spaghetti with meat sauce. The cacciatore was delicious. The chicken was perfect and the peppers and onions (of which there were plenty) still had plenty of crunch while still being properly cooked. The spaghetti with meat sauce was equally well done. The dish was originally spaghetti with meatballs and marinara, but they didn't mind mashing up the meatballs for her to make it into a meat sauce. It had some spice to it; a little zing, but not too much. It was nicely balanced. In both dishes the noodles were just right. Not mush, not undercooked, and properly rinsed of starch. Our opinions varied on the garlic bread. I did not care for it, she really liked it. It's basically like a round single serve Red Baron pizza with only garlic butter and cheese. I like my garlic bread made out of toasted Italian bread with garlic butter and maybe a little sprinkle cheese. My wife loved the way they did the garlic bread. The cheese was what made her smile. For dessert, we split a tiramisu. It was one of the best we've ever had. Creamy, but not too much, with a light coffee flavour. The delivery man who brought our meal was both friendly and capable of following delivery instructions. Sadly, this is a rare thing these days. Overall, excellent service and excellent food. I very...
Read moreDO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! BUYER BEWARE!! One star only because rating system requires one. This location has terrible, careless, unprofessional young staff. Food is sub-par & orders are wrong. Staff refuses to remedy mistakes. They cheat you out of your money, in other words. Owner Sean Ho is absentee owner as far as accountability goes. Their attitude is that once they have your money there's nothing you can do. NEVER HAVE FOOD DELIVERED FROM HERE. BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCE, BUYER BEWARE!! I feel so strongly about the principle of how we were cheated that I plan on filing a small claims court claim & exhausting all legal remedies to get justice. From the owner down through the staff, they are totally lacking in courtesy & integrity. I also am contacting franchise/corporate HQ to tell them of this...
