Taqueria La Conquistadora — Restaurant in Kenner

The food is pretty good. Service not so great. Always an issue. I finally decided to stop going and giving them my money. You ask to pay for extra stuff and they always give you a different price and they act as if tho they don't want you have it even tho you are paying for the extra. I thought that was the whoooole purpose of selling to the public. There are so many around town, I figure I will find another one with equally or better food that does not have a problem with you paying for extra any thing. Especially the green sauce. No matter how many tacos you buy they want to give you one sauce and then when you ask to pay for more they give you attitude and don't want to sell it to you. Sometimes U buy 2 other times 4 sometimes 8 depending on how many people want them. Customer service...

Talk about authenticity!! These folks are great with their occasional dry spouts due to low budget purchases but those days don't last very long because they'll jump right back to cooking bombass food! All walks of life always stop by & their open late too! Why does this place get 5 stars from me? One day i had no cash on hand & my card kept declining so the young lady gave me the food anyway, trusting my word that I'd come back before the end of the day to pay them back. & I sure the hell did come back, leaving a generous tip! She humbly declined but i handed it to her anyway! What more is there to say? I know that's not practical but I'm a regular & that by far has been the most wonderful experience I've had on top of the delicious food...

Went last night at midnight and got a torta, quesadilla, and 6 tacos... the torta was missing beans even though we asked if they put beans on it and they say yes. And the chicken tacos actually made me gag... I stopped eating after I tired the chicken taco. And it didn't taste like it was seasoned wrong, it tasted like it was bad meat or something. Very disappointed because I've had decent experience in the past. Maybe go earlier in the day if...
