I placed an order on June 23, 2020 for a large deep dish sausage pizza, one order of 8 boneless wings, one order of 8 traditional wings around 7:47pm. I got home and ate the wings immediately and didn’t open the box to the pizza until 9:55pm and realized I had been given the wrong pizza. I received a large deep dish with pepperoni, mushrooms and green bell peppers on it.
I called the store and spoke with an employee named David who stated the store closed at 10pm and no manager was available to talk with me. David stated he would leave a note for the manager and advised me to call back in the morning because the system was shut down and he couldn’t put any notes or credit in the system.
June 24th I called the store and spoke with a manager named Matt. I explained the situation to him and his response goes like this:
Matt: Well what did the employee want you to do by calling in today?
Me: I was advised to speak with a manager to see how we can rectify the situation, that’s why I am calling now
Matt: Well, do you still have the pizza?
Me: Yes, it’s at home in the trash and I am currently at work. However; I took pictures to verify I was given the wrong order.
Matt: Well, we can do an exchange since you have the old pizza, just bring it in and we can exchange it for the correct order.
Me: I am at work and I wouldn’t be able to get to the location until 4pm.
Matt: I get off at 4pm, is there not a way you can get here before then? There will be another manager coming in after me.
Me: So you are telling me that I am inconveniencing Jet’s Pizza by not being able to get off and to the store until 4pm for an error that was made by one of your employees?
Matt: That is our policy, you would need to bring in the other pizza to get it fixed and corrected to the right pizza?
Me: So you mean to tell me that I have to leave work, go home, get the pizza and then drive back to Kennesaw?
Matt: Did you take the pizza with you to work?
Me: No, why would I take a pizza that is incorrect with me to work that I’m not going to eat. I have the pictures for proof. Are you telling me you aren’t able to rectify your own error?
Matt: Well, I guess I can give you a store credit for 1/2 off your next pizza order for a large deep dish. Me: This is unacceptable. This is not my error and I have been a loyal customer. That is okay Matt, since you are unwilling to assist me. I will call your corporate office and file a complaint. And post on social media about this issue that could have been fixed in a matter of 10 minutes but you would rather loose a customer and business.
Matt: All corporate is going to do is reach out to me and ask me to reach back out to the customer.
Me: That’s fine, thanks but no thanks for your help and I hung up the phone.
I call corporate to find out the Kennesaw location is a franchise location and that I needed to fill out a form online and wait for a response.
While on the phone with corporate I received a missed phone call and voicemail from Jet’s Pizza in Kennesaw.
The voicemails from Matt states “Hi it’s Matt from Jets Pizza, I was calling to see if you would like us to have that deep dish pizza ready for you at 4pm, please give us a call back”.
This is completely unacceptable and horrible customer service experience from the Manager Matt. Jet’s Pizza just lost a customer because when I called I was polite, I stated I had proof and I just wanted my correct order remade. Matt, was unwilling to fix the issue and ONLY after I stated I would call corporate did he decide that he would be willing to fix the issue.
I will be taking this matter to social medics as well, there are power in numbers and this could have all been avoided if Matt was actually properly trained in...
Read moreWent to Jet Pizza Kennesaw, GA 7 Oct 2022 about 9:30 pm, I walked in to order a Large thin, sausage, pepperoni, extra cheese, the same order I've ordered for at least 5 years or more. My order was taken, paid and I went to the car. I remembered to run back in and tell a crew member to please ensure the pizza was cut into squares. She acknowledged, and went immediately to notify the cook.
I came into get my pizza and opened it to very little cheese, which I would have lived with, but then the pizza was cut into triangles first then cut into squares. The lady said we can remake it. I agreed and off she went. ( Pizza depicted in the photo is not the pizza in question)
By this time it was really near closing time. This is where the problem really gets insulting. The assistant manager John came storming back to the make table, slamming the hood of the table up, slamming things around, and shouting he's going to get 11 ounces of cheese and only 11 ounces, as he was slamming things around. When he finished the pizza and slammed it into the oven, he stormed off and yelled YOU CANT PLEASE THEM ALL.
Later I asked to speak with the assistant manager John only to be told by another team member, who by the way was very helpful and apologetic for John's actions and outburst, that John had left and the he was an inhouse manager at the time or something to that effect. Nevertheless, I am insulted, embarrassed, appalled, and very disappointed by his actions, remarks, and out cry's over something as simple as making a long standing...
Read moreI have never experienced such horrible customer service. Jet's Pizza on Jiles Road in Kennesaw proves that good customer service has been thrown out of the window. When I walked into the store to pick up my order I had to greet the customer service rep. she did not speak to me. When I got home I found that my food looked and tasted as if it was a day old. I called the next day to speak to the manager and he certainly did not care. He told me there was no way my food could look or taste as if it was a day old. He told me that it was because, I didn't pick up the food until 5:44pm when my ticket said pick up at 5:15pm he stated that was almost a hour ago. I told him that I called to speak to manager not to argue but, I actually thought he would care. He stated he is the manager and good bye. I order from them on a regular basis mostly on the Uber Eats app.. I have also called their store directly and placed big orders over $80 always tipping the driver well. This order was only a little over $30 so, I wasn't calling to get over on them. I was not complaining just to complain I was truly unsatisfied and tried to give them the opportunity to make it right. It's unfortunate that I didn't matter as a customer I am a pizza person and in Georgia Jet's Pizza was one of my favorite stores however, I refuse to order where my business is not appreciated. I will never order from Jet's Pizza again because of...
