I would be more likely to leave a tip if these waiters did not ask you EVERY time do you want your change back? I'm sorry but I think this is completely rude. Some people don't have the money to spare for a tip, some may have worked mowing yards or side jobs just to get enough cash to get their food for supper that night & then you got them asking you want your change back? So yes they need their change back. Some people would disagree with this & say no you need to leave a tip to the waiter, I disagree with this for one sonic does not have a drive through, so you are forced to order & wait just for them to hand it to you. They don't make refills & every single time my family of 5 goes they mess only MY order up every single time so we get home and have to waste gas to come all the way back to get it fixed then it's cold by then. Most of them are super rude or the nice ones just stare at your boyfriend like she fell in love. So the majority of them are rude girls. I'm sorry but If you don't ask for my change back then I will leave you the rest of it. It got so bad that I literally wait now if you ask for my change then I don't leave you anything & if you don't ask then I leave it all to you & tell them thank you for not asking this. I asked a girl one day that was super rude we paid like $50 something for our food which was already ridiculously high & she asked my husband do you want your change back he was like no it's ok I had to interrupt & say oh yes he does this girl tried to pull a slick one and thought by saying change he wouldn't notice which he did not but his change was $20 & some change. I wonder how many people have fell for this. So she gets mad at me goes in rude I'll go get your change & we had to push the button because 15 minutes later she still didn't bring the change. Also they get mad when you say NO WHIP CREAM, then they come out with it on there & get mad because they got to remake it. Like do you think you deserve a tip sweetheart with your raunchy attitude. You don't get a napkin or silverware ketchup not even the salt or pepper. You get 1 peppermint tho & also start paying attention to y'all's tots. Me n husband get large & medium tots usually but please explain to me why when we both get a large EVERY single time he gets more tots when he gets cheese on his? I started noticing this was so bad I said I'm gonna start counting the tots just to see something & I was right. He would have 24 tots I would have 15 both Larges. So the next visit I got a medium he got a large he had 18 tots this time & my medium had 22. So I asked the girl this time how many tots come in a large and medium she told me she don't know. I said so your telling me all this time everyone is getting screwed basically when they get a large tot because you end up getting whatever they throw in the box because they do not count them nor do they have a certain amount that goes in a large or medium she told me. So what is the point of getting a large tot if it's the same or less of tots as the medium has. Make this make sense. So everyone has been getting screwed big time. I hope some of y'all actually read this & start paying attention please. This sounds silly to count them but you have to understand that this happened so many times to us is the reason I started counting bc there is no reason a medium should have more than a large & if you both get larges it should have the exact same amount of tots regardless if their is cheese or not. They charge you like $2 or something like that for 2 slices of cheese on a large tot & it's melted to the side of the cardboard of your few tots & they spread it out to make it look like a lot. Y'all start paying attention n you will see y'all been getting screwed when you get a large anything js. Count them I promise its wrong! So yes I want my dang change back 😂girl if you don't give me my $15 back. It would be better if they had a tip cup like my sister in law does because she is too embarrassed to ask this she told me herself they make them ask do you want your change back....

Due to recent events (7-7-23) I can no longer recommend sonic drive in. I place an order at about 8:11 pm for only a large sweet tea and I waited for a total of about 45 minutes roughly give or take a few minutes but even after calling in a second time to let them know I have been waiting at this point for about 20 minutes and informing them I have been waiting for a sweet tea I was disconnected from the stall without a word gave the benefit of a doubt and waited a while longer and still never got my drink. I have worked food service my whole life and know the business it was not busy and they intentionally never brought my drink. If it was an option would be a strong 0 stars. If it was my job I would have been fired for insubordination and I would expect proper action to take place. It may not be ideal but you still have a job to do. And stop serving ice cream at 10 and close at 12? And your known...

Well i ordered four double cheeseburgers and a large cheese sticks. I got 3 single burgers and 6 cheese sticks. Im not very satisfied and neither was my husband. Dont rate this place very highly at all. They mess something up almost everytime I'm here. Im pretty much to the point that they have lost my business. If you like their food than more power to you. But the fact of the matter is that I ran a restaurant for 8 years as management and im not a rocket scientist. It just isnt as hard of a job as people make it out to be.
