Mi Ranchito — Restaurant in Kennett

It was my first time to go here and I WON'T be back. Although the food was good...the service was horrible! Our server barely greeted us when she took us to our table. Another server had to check on our drink order which was simple...2 waters with lemon.

When our original server brought us our food order she never spoke a word, never asked us if there was anything else we needed and never came back to check on us through our entire meal! I had to ask a different server if we could get a take home box...she did make a last ditch effort for a tip when we were finished to see if everything was okay.

Paying for our meal was also lackluster at best! The guy checking us out didn't speak a word to us! Just took our money and sent us on our way! NOPE...I will NOT be returning here and I will NOT recommend it to anyone!

GO TO LUPITAS instead! The food is excellent and the service is too!! Lunch/Dinner out is SUPPOSED to be a nice experience! Most restaurants around here know this. Mi Ranchito...

Will never go back to this place. My one year old daughter loved their rice and she is a little messy as she is only a one year old. When she makes a mess we always pick most of it up for them and usually leave a decent tip for their troubles, we are there once a week most of the time twice a week. We were getting ready to leave, was going to clean up most of our mess beforehand. We were talking to someone we knew in the restaurant and the manager comes to me and my wife, rudely tapped on our shoulders while we were talking to another party that we knew and told us not to give her rice anymore that it was too much work for them to clean up. Our server brought my 10 year old daughter's food out and sat it in front of her. She ordered Nachos Supreme but without lettuce and tomato but the one brought out had lettuce and tomato so she started picking it off. The server comes back and tells her that he gave her the wrong plate. He picks it up and sets a new one down. I assumed he would take the other plate back and discard it. Nope. He took it to one of the tables sitting behind us. I'm not sure which one but when he came back past our table he was empty handed. I have eaten here one other time and the food is good but it makes me wonder what other health code violations they are breaking. I won't...
