Kind of disappointed. I ordered online and I was specifically craving Sushi. I prepaid and went to pick up my food during my lunch break. Once I get there, the lady (who I assume is the owner) told me the website made a mistake and they no longer serve the sushi I ordered. Okay, no big deal, so I asked if I could substitute it for another Sushi entree and she said no because she was behind on orders. As you could imagine, that didn't sit well with me. So then I asked what my options were and she said she could either refund me or substitute it for a half order of pot stickers. Mind you, I'm starving and on my lunch break, so I accepted. After having eaten my lunch, I'm pretty disappointed with how they handled the situation. I get the system had a malfunction, but I specifically came here to get Sushi and left without Sushi simply because they didn't want to acknowledge the mistake or make it right. Food tastes great for anyone wondering, but I'm a bit concerned with how many people they've done this too. I want to come back because the food is yummy, but I don't know if I'm willing to go through this again. Very...
ย ย ย Read moreI absolutely love this place. I came here on a whim and a desire to try a new restaurant. It's really not too much to look at, a little bit of a hole in the wall. But the food was out of this world. I had the chicken teriyaki and my hubby had shrimp fried rice and general tso's chicken. I can proudly say that the teriyaki was the best I've ever had. I loved the grilled taste to the chicken, which was tender and juicy, and the sauce was beautiful. Thick and glossy, and coated each piece perfectly. Plus the portions were huge! Hubby loved his food too. Also, the little lady that took our order was such a sweet heart, and when our food took a little longer than expected (it was a sizable order) she prepared an order of gyoza for us to enjoy while we waited, free of charge. So incredibly thoughtful. If you're looking to support a local restaurant and love this type of cuisine, I HIGHLY recommend this place. Will be returning again and...
ย ย ย Read moreNot sure what all the high reviews are about. Large portion size was the highlight of my order.
I ordered: Teriyaki chicken & general chicken combo add side noodles. Ana & Elsa roll. Dragon Ninja roll.
Hereโs my review: Teriyaki was pretty decent. General chicken had good sauce (though not spicy at all) but DRY chicken. Rice on both sushi rolls was dry. Ana & Elsa roll boring. Dragon ninja roll was missing eel on the inside. They instead put the eel on the outside and not avocado. Made the roll too fishy for my taste. Even after removing the eel, had to throw away the rolls.
I used a delivery service for this order so was able to receive a refund for the inedible dragon ninja roll and the missing spicy sauce that I ordered.
Will never have this place again. Ate here based on the reviews. Guess I agree with another user that suggests Tri Cities has no taste buds - wish he had a good review for a different local...
