Sharetea Tri-Cities — Restaurant in Kennewick

A few weeks ago, I visited some friends who are long-time residents of Kennewick, Washington (Tri-Cities). As part of their hospitality, they toured me around bringing me to a # of beautiful scenic spots. Summer weather there & then was typically West Coast-like: sultry & uncomfortably stifling. As recommended, we went to SHARE TEA outlet to savor the city's much talked-about latest refreshment shop. Short of spreading the red-carpet treatment, the staff accommodated us well which was just typical of their normal protocol. The drinks served were, par for the course, among the best if not the best in town!

I did not expect this: as part of their policy, they even offered healthy choices for customers. Customers could demand sugar-content level (much or less) according to their liking or health requirement. Seems like this is unheard of before in the vicinity or anywhere else. Being a pre- diabetic myself, this was great news. And I appreciated it most. An experience of this variety was not enough. So, I went back the next day & the days after. Their refreshment products, the nice & welcoming employees, the rather home-like ambience, even the ideal biz location were not anything I've observed ANYWHERE before. In fact, this adventure was the highlight of my visit there. No doubt, I'd pay this store frequent visits in the near future: to spoil myself & possibly others. Mmm...too much good stuffs to keep to myself.

In my opinion, boba tea is absolutely amazing and I can't help but love it. I love boba tea, but this is a shop I will never come back to. When I walked in I immediately felt like I was an inconvenience and the staff seemed to be judgmental. I was trying to be friendly and ask the staff for drink recommendations when ordering but they were being very short and i felt i was being rushed to figure out my order. Like if it was busy but it was not. I felt like it was an inconvenience for them to have to take my order. As far as boba goes, it was very hard and rubbery? Typical boba should have a perfect texture but it did not. And for the drink itself I ordered a taro (which is my favorite usually) it was very bland and watery. It was blended as well, and there is nothing worse than big chunks of ice in your drink. Not good. Maybe it was just an off day?… 0...
