UPDATE: So today my friend went to Roasters and they had charged her 3.75 for a hot chocolate instead of $2. She decided to let them know that they had charged her incorrectly, they gave her the change and after that she had a cookie that she wanted to buy, no one was making eye contact with her so that she could purchase the cookie. She decided that she had waited long enough so instead she put it back and was walking to the table. One of the baristas noticed that she walked away and told her that she needed to purchase the cookie. My friend let the barista know that she had in fact put it back. The barista replied with saying that she still had to buy the cookie because she couldn't see where she put it. My friend walked to the counter and pointed to the cookie that she left. So it is unfortunate that she had that experience with the Edison baristas on December 22, 2018. REVIEW FROM NOVEMBER 22: Usually Roasters is the best but today the tea was unflavored, and when I asked for more syrup, they only added half a scoop more and it still didn't add enough flavor. It was also double stamp day but they said it was only from 8-10 and that wasn't said...
Read moreI realized that my breakfast sandwich had something in it that I have a food intolerance to, so I stopped eating it and went up to ask the person working if I could have an exchange or a refund. I said something like, "Hi, I think my sandwich has onion in it, does it? If it does, I'm unfortunately probably going to have a food reaction to this..." And all they said was, "Sorry to hear that, I didn't know it had onion because I haven't eaten it." And they turned away and kept talking to the person in the drive-thru and they didn't listen or let me finish. I just threw it away and left after that.
It wasn't their fault that it had onion in it, and I wasn't mad at them for that, but they shouldn't have ignored me, and they should have asked if I wanted a different sandwich of a similar price that I could eat. I was a barista for several years, and that's what I would have done. Saying "sorry" and turning away wasn't the way to...
Read moreWe went to this location because it’s close to home. We asked for a large drink and I guess we weren’t “specific” enough on large part which was an easy mistake because when you say large you assume it’s the biggest cup right? Anyways when we got our drinks my fiancé simply asked if this was the large not rude just asked but then this one worker got rude rolled her eyes and said we need to be more specific on what we want with an attitude like whoa relax it was a simple mistake there was no need for that at all I understand it was busy but it’s not like we were rude. We both used to work in customer service so we understand how some customers can be but we were sweet. maybe she was stressed because it was busy but still it was rude. She said it was fine but in that tone which made us feel that it was not fine. Everyone else there was super sweet and understanding they didn’t seemed...
