Felix, you're a rockstar*
*Thinking about trying something new? *Love taco trucks and food trucks alike? *Do you enjoy exposing your palate to an array of amazing flavors, the likes of which you can easily change up at any moment with one or more of delectable homemade salsas? *Is customer service at the top of your list of important features of a successful 'go-to' place?
If you answered 'yes' to even ONE of the above questions, then you're in for a treat. They've got daily specials that are always a surprise, tortas with unique toppings including but not limited to curry and mango or cream cheese and jalapenos.
The patrons and the owners are both super friendly and enjoy coming together for a laugh and a bite.
Only potential downsides but not deal breakers:
-- ((Weather)): if there is a cold wind, it's best to order and hide in your car while you wait. Summer is hot due to the asphalt that surrounds the carwash. -- ((Parking)): If they're super busy, it gets a little difficult to turn around and park somewhere else. -- ((Cash only)): I always try to make sure I have a $20 in my pocket for a stop there during the week. Then I kick myself when I do forget to hit the bank. -- ((No beer)): I don't know about you, but if I'm having super tasty food, I like a super tasty beer to wash it down. Local beer would be welcomed and would likely boost sales, but I understand they're doing well and who wants to deal with the legalities of selling beer through a food truck window.
Overall I would rate El Fat Cat Grill 4.5/5. Try it out!...

If you're in the mood for a taco experience that'll make your taste buds do a little cha-cha, El Fat Cat Grill is the place to be. I recently ventured into this culinary fiesta and sampled their taco offerings—here's the scoop.
First up, the Fiji Taco. Imagine a tropical vacation for your mouth. It was good, and while I didn’t feel the urge to start singing "I Want to Be Like You" from The Jungle Book, I certainly wouldn't object to a repeat visit.
Next, we have the Green Hornet Taco. This one was like the sidekick of the taco world—reliable, but not exactly taking the spotlight. It was fine, but let's just say it's not going to win any "Taco of the Year" awards.
And now, for the taco that truly deserves a standing ovation: the Chorizo Taco. If tacos were Broadway shows, this one would be a smash hit, with fireworks and a confetti cannon. The chorizo was seasoned to perfection, juicy, and every bite was like a flavor explosion. It stole the show, and frankly, I’m still daydreaming about it.
So, if you’re ever at El Fat Cat Grill, don’t miss the Chorizo Taco. It's the taco equivalent of discovering a hidden gem on a lazy Sunday. The Fiji Taco is a nice detour, the Green Hornet is there for the ride, but the Chorizo? That’s...

Go to Tacos Palomino on the other side of town, they are the best and worth the drive.
Never coming again!
Several times we’ve shown up to be told “we’re closed.” This last time we came from out of town to try them one more time because of the good reviews only to be told “we’re closed”! An hour before scheduled closing time! The question is, why are you even at your establishment if you’re closed all the time?? Do you single out certain customers to tell this to, but serve others?
Another customer reviewed this same thing about you having random hours, and they’re right, they are certainly NOT the only ones.
I get the loss of a family member making you absent (your reason for the random hours to the other customer) but please don’t make that an excuse for the ELEVEN months we’ve encountered being turned away because “you’re closed” at random times of the day.
I’ve only actually eaten here successfully once... and honestly, I’d choose palominos every time now even if you are closer.
So...
