Tres Hermanos Nunez-Kenova — Restaurant in Kenova

Let me start by saying that I have eaten at Tres Hermanos Nunez numerous times at different locations, this was my first and last at the Kenova location. The food was good as normal as we have come to expect from Tres but it was the WORST service we have ever had at any of the locations. Waiter seated us and took drink orders, came back with chips and salsa, brought our drinks and took our order. A server brought us our food in a timely manner and that was it, no refills on drinks, mind you not one since we GOT our drinks, didn't check in on us at all until my wife and son were done and I was down to literally my last bite. The staff was courteous, they were all wearing masks, the tables and menus seemed wiped clean but the food was overpriced ( they have increased the prices of meat dishes by $2/3 due to Covid 19). I ordered a plate with meat and chicken and it was so dry I could barely chew it. When it was time to pay and sign in their I pad, I requested the server to disinfect it -it was cover with finger prints from previous costumers/server- and he did it begrudgingly; to my dismay when he came back I realized he wiped it with a piece of dry paper as the several fingerprints were still there. This was my first visit to Tres Hermanos and I very likely won't go back. The service was fine and the amount of food for the dollar was a good portion but the food lacked character. It didn't have many of the flavors that usually dominant Hispanic food. If it wasn't for the bottle of hot sauce on the table which I liberally poured on the food it would have been rather tasteless. I am used to most enthic restaurant in the area whiting (I know that sounds totally racists but it is what enthic restaurant must do to be acceptable to the populance) their food but this made the food almost tasteless.
