We were visiting Trader Joe's next door when we decided to try Jersey Mike as we hadn't ever had it before. What a mistake. We would have been much happier trying other options in the shopping complex or even driving a few blocks over for a better meal.
We entered this establishment with no greeting and there was only us and we proceeded to order 2 hot subs. Of course, that takes a little time, so we stood in the back facing the register so the servers would call us when our order was ready. By then, many other customers had arrived and were placing their order. We could see our orders being prepared, placed on the counter top and the person behind me ordered the same sub as me was given the sub that was actually part of my order! So I had to wait for another 10 mins for it to be ready again. But the issue is that my 2 subs were prepared before hand but one of them was given to the person behind me so I had to wait longer, when I was there before, placed my order before and yet my order wasn't fully ready. The employee who was running the registrar didn't seem to care or even notice and we literally had to go interject to pay for our order and say "these are my subs, can I please pay for it?" It was just so disorganized.
On top of that, because it was in the middle of the day, we ate in our car. The sandwiches were so damn expensive, sloppy, lacked flavor, the bread of the buffalo chicken because it had sat there for reordering of my second order (Chipotle chicken) was super soggy. We ended up throwing away the sandwiches without eating it even half way.
What a waste of our money, our time, our first time experience and overall feel. I will not be trying Jersey Mike again, here or any other location. You are better off going to...
Read moreCalled in an order on 4/12 because their website was having issues, asked for a #7 with no cheese and mike's way. They must have misheard me and gave me a #17, which is a Philly cheesesteak. No worries, miscommunications happen. They did not confirm my order with with me to check that I actually wanted a Philly with no cheese + olive oil and vinegar (Mike's way), which is an insane sandwich that I highly doubt anyone would willingly order, but whatever.
I drove back to ask them to remake it, which the employees said they'd do. Halfway through remaking it, the manager sent one of the employees back out (instead of coming out themself) to tell me they were going to have to charge me for the new sandwich. This is after I had already handed the old one back and they tossed it, so I could not even take the monstrosity that I paid for back. I explained the miscommunication, but they would not be flexible, I guess. Pretty lame not to take care of a longtime regular that's never once complained over an overpriced sandwich it would cost them next to nothing to replace.
I'm super bummed because this was my favorite sandwich shop and we eat here weekly, but my family and I won't be coming back...
Read moreI've been here several times; my mom has a gluten allergy (not incredibly severe, but still requires GF bread and at least a quick wipe down of the station). They previously were accomodating, but today we went in after church to get a couple sandwiches to bring home. My mother asked for gluten free bread on her sandwich, and the lady behind the counter said, "well you're just going to have to wait, because we only have one slicer." She had a very annoyed tone in her voice, as if my mother chooses to have an allergy that limits what she can eat. Keep in mind, at this time there was only one person in line behind us. My mother felt so bad about what this lady said and how she said it that she ended up not ordering food for herself.
Whoever was slicing the cheese and meats at the Kent Kangley Jersey Mike's on 9/17/23 at 1:30 pm is incredibly unprofessional. We will not be returning to this location, even without my mom. I can eat gluten just fine, but I find it ridiculous and gross that someone would be so rude towards another's allergy. I've worked years in the food industry, including fast food, and I've never see someone take...
