Kelly Latte's — Restaurant in Kent

Edit (11/9/2020): I've lowered this review from 5-stars to 2-stars. I still adore the coffee here and I think the service is generally pretty great. That said, I'm incredibly disappointed that the couple of times that I've stopped by during the course of the pandemic, there hasn't been a single glove or mask to be seen. Due to an autoimmune condition, I cannot leave home very often right now and it was a bit of a treat to go for an occasional drive to get a coffee milkshake. In a time when we all need to work together to protect the most vulnerable of our people, I'm definitely sad that this is one small business I cannot currently support. We have to have each other's backs.

This is hands down the best place to get coffee in S King County! Located in Kent but just outside of Renton area. It is always busy for a reason. They have a big menu and the drinks are very 😋 tasty. They also have children’s drinks and Ice cream shakes-yum! I cannot have milk or sugar so if you are like me and have allergies they can work around that too. I usually always order a 24oz (comes with 4 shots of espresso), and made with unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk with sugar free chocolate and sugar free caramel and if you ask them they will swirl the inside of you cup with sugar free chocolate syrup. I feel like I am getting a treat every time I indulge in one of them. My husband orders a hot Mocha Latte and it tastes wonderful as well. First time going here, I was excited because I heard all the hype about this place. I don’t drink coffee so I’m extremely happy that the menu is so big and with loads of options. I got the vanilla bean blended drink with a breakfast croissant on the side. (It’s jimmy deans breakfast sandwich) so pretty standard but yummy. The drink itself was delicious! I’d go here over Starbucks for blended drinks. BUT! There’s only one thing keeping this place from 5 stars.

Y’all need to use gloves! I saw a similar review recently how they don’t use gloves especially when touching the straw and I’ll admit that grossed me out, but I’ll trust that their hands should be consistently clean.
