I went here and got two big macs for five dollars after not stopping at burger king to try to save a little money. That was a mistake and usually do not eat at this McDonald's due to the absolutely disgusting conditions of the restaurant, food left out for triple and quadruple the time that health code violations of the county regulate it to be out. Ui have worked for McDonald's, have family that has worked there for an extensive period of time. I last year worked at this McDonald's location for a brief period of time and I was appalled at the conditions of time restaurant, the training or lack there of and all around service. The meat especially. That is why I have not ate there since working there briefly. Me and my fiancée have been up throwing up and having horrible other bowel and perfuse symptoms since eating the contaminated big macs which I am completely sure is due to employees thinking the timers on the meat to throw it out are a minor annoyance to be simply ignored by pushing the button to add more time until it beeps again. Same thing with the fries and any other tray of meat and or food items there. Not it's real intended purpose to let uyou know to pull the trqy dispose of the item and put new in by the grill workers that properly prepared it. Which was never done right, grill cleaned correctly and all condiments and other sandwich items and produce stocked properly and fresh. It was by far the worst fast food restaurant I have ever worked in. I have approximately 4 years total of fast food restaurant experience. And by far the worst one to eat at. I have been suck from the food at this McDonald's location three times now. I usually just eat ice cream and get drinks there because of the conditions. But McDonald's let's face it banks on the fact that poor middle class people that work for a living paycheck to paycheck with not much money will eventually try to eat there again especially when it is close to you and is cheaper than the other places nearby. I rolled the dice again on this McDonald's because I was told it was better now, newer employees. Cleaner conditions. But went through the drive thru and upon later review of the restaurant it is just as disgusting if not worse than usual. They should not even be able to charge money at this location for food. It should be monitored and given away to the people of Kent for a few day's as a reward of having dealt with this McDonald's for years. Iim not the first one to complain about it. I plan to complain and try to file an extensive complaint and getting some sort of compensation for me and my fiancée having stayed up all...
Read moreYou can tell the place is dirty when you see the Saturday night crew. They’re rude, the food is always cold, and the employees have bad hygiene. and i’m not even saying that because they told me i had to pull back around to use a mobile coupon that i already used because the person they put on headset needed to be on fry station and had to re-ring my entire order. im saying this because she was rude from the second she got to the window(the manger) i was trying to explain i gave her employee i coupon code in follow she responds “WHAT” like she didn’t understand me I’m a fast food worker myself so when i seen them re-ringing in my order i already knew my coupon was not gonna be on there, but from my personal experience in fast food i just assumed they would replace the fry no problem because it was a total mess up on THEIR part. i’ve worked at mcdonald’s when i was 14 for 2 years its not hard at all to replace one fry. but instead of just replacing the fry i ended my shift at wendy’s arguing with a mcdonald’s manager. all because she had a mental breakdown bout a medium fry. their staff needs trained every car was waiting not one time did somebody just get to come and gracefully get they food. i know yall timer is bad. yes fast food company’s have timers their supposed to keep you in the drive thru for a minimum of 107-109 seconds, it varys for different company’s and stores. this place is unclean, unkind, and they need to hire more minors because clearly that’s the only time anybody...
Read moreConsistently the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. It is so bad, in fact, that when I'm feeling bad about myself and my own ability to function as an adult human being in society, I will go back to this McDonald's so I can feel better about myself.
I have never seen staff that are so poorly trained, so poorly managed, or so completely unfriendly as the current group that works here.
I once requested a Hi-C here when asked for my drink order at the drive-thru (I mistakenly thought they still carried this miracle liquid), and instead of notifying me of my mistake, a manager took over for the cashier (who was naturally confused) and handed me an orange juice. This manager then proceeded to fight with me about my order. Unbelievable. My second to last visit to this location was another drive-thru visit, and after making my order at the intercom, the staff didn't say a word to me. I was never greeted with I paid for my food. I was barely acknowledged when my food was handed to me. My most recent visit--against my better judgement--I was charged for a large drink and given a small.
If you are looking for quality, friendly service, delicious food, and the type of experience that leaves you smiling to yourself while you're driving back to your home, this is not the McDonald's for such an experience. This McDonald's possesses all the cheer of the BMV, but without any of the practical purpose.
But hey, at least it...
