San Wok Express — Restaurant in Kent

Only come here if you are getting rice. The egg drop soup is disgusting. Just a big sopping jelly ball of egg with no flavor. Dont get anything with breading on it because it is all soggy. Tiny piece of chicken with a huge layer of wet breading with no flavor. Sesame chicken has seeds and sauce on it. Not just sesame seeds thrown on plain chicken. I wasted 20$ went straight into the garbage.

Like I said the rice is all good. Just dont get anything else. 2 stars for the rice and friendly service. Doesn't get you your money back but whatever

Called back and the dude was rude. Said: people ordered the same thing as you and didnt call and complain about it. Uh...so??? Do you think every person that has bad food experiences calls? He said they would "fix it" but theres nothing to fix. I'm not gonna drive back over there and waste my time. "We make our food fresh" that doesn't mean that its gonna be good. I'm thinking it was undercooked and someone didnt wash their hands. Would have been nice if they offered a refund but NOPE. Dont bother with this place at all. They had a chance to redeem themselves but instead acted like they did nothing wrong and that a paying customer was the one with the problem.

Both my bf and I got food poisoning from this place...puking and everything else. Changing to 1 star after how rudely they behaved on top of getting sick....

I just began renting nearby and wanted to try food from local places so I ordered online for in store pickup. Not only was the food ready quicker than the ETA I originally got from the website, but the folks in the shop were so incredibly friendly when me and my roommate walked in to pickup! The front window was full of beautiful greenery and the man at the counter greeted us right away and cheerfully handed us our bags. I asked him if he knew what the big plant in the window was called and he stepped into the back and brought out an older gentleman who explained the name of the plant and showed me some others in the shop that were the same kind but smaller. The interaction was so nice it made my whole day, my whole week probably. And then when we got home to eat, the food was absolutely stellar! Portions were big with lots of meat and sauce, they didn't skimp on rice or anything else. They also gave us a good handful of fortune cookies in the bag 😁 Absolute gem of a restaurant, I plan to order often and hope that even if I don't stay in the area I'll be able to keep coming...

AMAZING RESTAURANT!!! The restaurant is clean and organized which I greatly appreciate. The owners/workers are always so friendly over the phone and when I come in person. They always greet you and say goodbye and are just overall very kind. Whenever I am early for my to go order they always offer me tea. The food is so delicious. Their potstickers are the best I’ve ever had. I order them every time I go there. And I’ve tried potstickers from so many other restaurants in the area. The sauce is incredible too. I also always order the BBQ Pork, the texture is perfect and the spicy mustard is spot on. I highly recommend this restaurant.
