THE COMEBACK KID. Wow this used to be a terrible Taco Bell when they had Long John's. I avoided it for at least 3 years. Tallmadge Circle Taco Bell is officially dethroned as the top Taco Bell in the local area. I've now went to Kent TB at least 12 times, each time the food was good, didn't get sick, clean store, and friendly staff -especially the guy cooking with the tattoos on his elbow. What a great worker. I used to work fast food so I can appreciate when I see someone moving so fast, calculated, clean, doing their thing and at the same time keeping a positive or neutral attitude. Not that he's the only good worker, but he shines and you don't find that often. Probably in 5 years that dude will be a CEO somewhere and this taco bell will be terrible again, but for now, you have to go and get the exceptionally prepared food and friendly service. I tried Tallmadge circle again and it just seemed so lack-luster. ADVICE TO MANAGEMENT - good job turning this around. Award the staff you have now with raises or whatever you have to do to keep them because it wasn't the LJS messing the place up before - it was the attitude of the workers which is always a reflection of how they are treated. Look at s-boro, everyone's fighting in there, the management talks to the employees like a dog in front of the customer and the food and service is terrible. It's all about the people and how...
Read moreI have been coming to this Taco Bell since 2015, except for a few small problems, I have been happy, if not elated with this location. The service at this location except for a few hiccups has been darn near flawless. I have been such a regular at this location, at one point an employee let skip they had a nickname for me. (I'm not sure if I should see this as a positive or a negative)
However, after today, I'm honestly left frustrated and heartbroken. With prices being what they are, and my financial situation not being much better, when I need some quick food on the cheap, I go to Taco Bell. Two $2 burritos, and we're set. Well today, I got my burritos. One of them was fine, and the other was barely staying together. An honest mistake, it's happened before. I went to the counter, I laid it on the counter and the lady looked at it and said "what's wrong with it?" she starts to pick at it and says "it's just a piece of chicken". I was so dumb founded by her response, I was confused and angry. Not wanting to make a scene, I took the mess and walked away saying "okay". I'm not sure I want to come back to this location again... It's a $2 burrito. If you can look at that and say the words "what's wrong with it?" I'm not sure I want to eat the food you...
Read moreWhile I don't have much of a problem with Taco Bell itself I did have a problem with the service at the Kent Ohio location on Main Street. I went to order the Grande Nacho box without a drink. I had heard of a few friends receiving a discount for not ordering a drink so I figured I'd get a cheap dinner. The workers refused to offer that deal and acted like they never heard of it before. They did tell me they would ring my drink up as water to save on tax but that's the best they could do. I gave up and figured that's the best I would manage and told them water would be fine and went to pay. After paying I was given my nachos and no drink. I asked where my water was and they seemed puzzled that I wanted a drink even though they charged me for one! I had to argue again saying I paid for a drink so I'd better get one. I shouldn't have even had to ask at that point but they did end up giving me a water. I got out of there and probably won't ever go back. While the nachos were pretty good I'd eat somewhere else if you care at all about being...
