In 2023 I reached out to see if my favorite ring that had broke was even fixable. They said it was an easy fix, and quoted me 40$ I thought this was great and so reasonable, when I get there to drop off my ring they said it may be more more like 65-90$. This was confusing to me, because it seemed like a random increase? They explained that now that they are seeing it in person it is a little different of price. Again this is my FAVORITE ring, so I say okay. It took quite a long time (I felt like) to be completed and get back to me, and when I get there they say it’s going to be 120$. Again I’m confused because I was originally quoted something much different and it’s now changed every time. I bring this up, still having not even seen my ring since giving it to them. They said “yeah he had to use more material than her originally thought, so it was more” I say okay, because at this point I have to get my ring back. I noticed once I had it back, that the ring is not even on both sides anymore and the damaged side is much thinner. It’s slight though and I don’t know anything about jewelry repair, so I just think it is what it is. Now it’s broken in the exact same place and in the same way. I couldn’t be more upset honestly, this is a huge let down, less than 2 years later the work wore off? Or?? I’m confused and I do t feel like I can take it back to them either with out it becoming a $500 repair...

He was given free rein to design the necklace, using "hummingbird" as the inspiration. His vision, personal touches, and artistic vision made the piece truly stunning.

Shopping at Squirrel City Jewelers is a delight. I not only did Michael revive my engagement ring back to brand new sparkle, I was obsessed with these adorable skull pearl earrings (I found out also made by Michael).

I will wait until I travel back to Kent to have any jewellery repair or add to my unique collection. Definitely will not be buying from any chain stores anymore- after my experience...

My custom engagement ring is the most beautiful piece of jewelry I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe I get to wear it all the time! If I could put more than 5 stars I would! Michael worked with me for months, making multiple renderings of different designs for me to take a look at. I just wasn’t sure what I wanted at first and he made me feel comfortable in taking my time to figure out exactly what I wanted. Once I did choose, he mailed me a plastic model of my ring to make EXTRA sure it was what I wanted, and it was perfect. When my fiancé and I went to get the ring, I was in tears. I will always remember that day! I had asked Michael to use my mom’s stones from her wedding and engagement rings, and he made them sparkle in a new way. I never thought I’d be so emotional about a piece of jewelry, but now every time I look at it I think about my fiancé, how much he loves me and I love him, and our future together, as well as my mom and dad and their love for me.
